There is no council Lor'themar is Warchief

Lets be honest, Lor’themar is Warchief right now.

The short story they put out about him seems to suggest he’s putting the most effort into trying to get The Horde back into a working order.

He’s the guy we’re always reporting too. Is this Lor’themars 500 iq plan to avoid getting axed by Blizzard by not technically being a Warchief?

Well I am worried he will switch factions after Shadowlands.

I’m pretty sure they’re going to forget about him too once we rescue Anduin’s puppet.

Blood elves are the most played Horde race so it is only a matter of time that a blood elf lead the Horde.

Lor’Themar has always worked as a team player. Even as leader of the Blood Elves he always had Halduran and Rommath with him in the chamber.

Who hasn’t had a crack yet? Orcs led, a troll did for half a lunch break, Sylvanas did, so she covers elves and forsaken, so the next war chief is going to be either a gobo or a Tauren.

I’m really grateful to see more Lor’themar, considering even after his introduction he was MIA for several expansions! I actually do expect him to get a “de facto” leadership position in the council.

When Baine leads we will just be Blue Alliance.

Eh, go read the most recent novel.

Nothing wrong with that. You’ll upgrade from mud huts to stone buildings and AND you’ll get like twenty horse mounts.

Lor’Themar is like a Druid as he seems to always care about Azeroth and people more than other race leaders. Well Dwaves do actually care about Azeroth.

Maybe Blood Elves could be more friendly towards the Dwarf Race after Shadowlands?

You mean red alliance

The alternative is that Baine throws more temper tantrums and we pretend he knows what he’s doing.

Well, if Nathanos is any proof, Blizzard will chop down any leader of the Horde, as long as they’re Horde.

you right; when Baine leads will will be the Red alliance; report to anduin and share stormwind with the alliance.

I get upset when i am playing my alliance toon and just see Baine constantly.

All of those hard wooden chairs gathering dust in Stormwind Keep, we could upholster cushions on them all, like really decorate the place to be more like a new Silvermoon. It would be fabulous!

The thing about councils… they don’t actually work as a form of leadership… in order for a council to function properly, someone must be singled out as “speaker” “head” or any other function that ultimately defines them as the leader of the council. Unless you constantly shift who initiates meetings, who issues the councils decisions to the masses, and who is approached by the masses with problems, a council is merely a secondary leadership beneath a ruler…

That said… it might still be a little too early to say if this “council” leading the horde is truly leading it, or if one singular member has been appointed into a leadership position whether intentionally or unintentionally…

Wouldn’t mind Gazlowe as faction leader he seems to be a cool goblin.

Lor’themar has always stepped up when need but, has also always stated he has no want to lead.

The horde needs to get back to its roots of honor in the face of adversity and being the lovable losers that we once were.

If I’m elected warchief, I promise you, my loyal subjects. That I will make the horde great again. An undead monstrosity made of hopes and dreams, and a blight bomb for every dwarf. #Claremont2020

Which is why he is actually a good leader. Will do it to the best of his ability, but doesn’t want the power it gives.
