Alpha is by invitation only.
Anything before Alpha is IN house testing.
Beta is public by invite or code.

There’s supposed to be an event for content creators to get early testing from what I’ve heard. This could be that.
I don’t think you have to be afraid of this. Normally any currencies you need you can’t sell and can regularly turn in to whatever npc they have. And stay useful throughout.
