Blizzard… please… don’t punish casuals, the game feels dead without them

AQ is historically when “fresh” servers start their population decline. Its gonna happen regardless.
That being said, changing from a rep-requiring token system to the way theyve done MC/BWL would be ideal for the sets out of AQ. Oh, and for god’s sake update the 3 set itemization you can farm out of AQ20.
its not punishing the casuals you can opt to get the normal amount of loot(at a 100% increased rate due to smaller raid size i might add) and not do the challenge modes.
and we havent even seen exactly what the mechanics are and how they will play out. If its just SoM mechanics its likely still going to be puggable much like BWLs system due to SoD player power creep.
You can still do the normal version with no penalty…just like you could do bwl with no trials. Nobody is forcing you to do the harder mode. If you cant do the challenge that’s totally fine! Hope you have a great day Bearmancow

Don’t kid yourself. If the loot is “better” in the challenge mode like they said in the post, rather than “more” like BWL then the gate keeping for AQ in general will be through the roof.
I will genuinely have no problem finding a group with my parses but this is a guild/casual breaker and a solid way to get rid of even more players
Not everyone has to do everything. Not everyone needs to pretend to be equal
