this did not work for me still having major problems it just stops says there is error bla bla bla and scans the files. I did all that and no fix at all

The thread you posted on had a player who was having a specific issue. There are dozens of things that can cause update problems, so it’s always possible things on one thread may not fix an issue for someone else.
It sounds like something is fighting you for control of your file system since it happens even on a reinstall. If you’re using an addon manager like twitch or wowmatrix, try uninstalling that. Otherwise, the most likely cause would be a security program which thinks we’re doing something malicious, which you want to temporarily uninstall.. If you still have problems after that create a new administrator account and test on that account. In some cases your old account can get corrupted and start having issues with permissions or its registry, and a new admin account gets fully rebuilt, fixing those problems. If even that fails, update your operating system in case your windows defender is out of date.
Cant get the patch to download, windows defender is off, deleted cache and wtf folder. When I choose classic it will start to download that patch fine, when I go to retail it gets stuck at 66.41mb remaining @ 0 B/s

Neither of which will load for you - the links or the games? What is the error code that happens when the download fails? (It should be a long code that says something like BLZBNTBGS########)
