Theater of Pain - Please Move Legendary Memories to Last Boss

Like title says. I have yet to complete this dungeon because the DHs/Warriors/Paladins all bail out right after the Xav fight.

The bailing should not be preventing you from finishing. When they leave you reque and your in progress group is placed at the lead for new memeber. As such it will fill back up and you will be able to complete it. If you haven’t been able to complete it I’m betting it has more to do with you leaving with them vs waiting for new memebers.

Drops should be placed where they make the most sense not just be forced to to last boss since you want people to stay to the end.

If you want people to stay to the end give additional reasons to stay to the end such as making the loot bags for the completion better. If they could get a reasonable amount of anima to make up for the lost time that could otherwise be used questing might be more inclined to stay.

This isn’t an issue with the memories being off earlier bosses, this is an issue with the memories having drop rates that require something like 30-50 runs to get to drop. If people weren’t being asked to grind their face off on a cheese grater for these things, it wouldn’t be an issue.

It needs to be moved to last boss, even after waiting 10+ mins in queue for new tank it never pops. I have yet to be able to finish this dungeon a single time with dungeon finder, its ridiculous.

You don’t see the progress of the instance when queong for random so that’s completely not true. In fact this case in older xpacs was the exact reason for that change.

While if the tank is queong specifically for that instance they will see it they will not be given a in progress run the system will force a not in progress run when specific qued unless the que is redic long which I have never seen happen even when lego farming. Even if it dose happen your looking for the tank via random que that dose not see the progress that will be the next tank as your at the head of the que. as such my point stands it’s completely possible to finish the run.

If your waiting a long time that’s since there is no tanks queing random which is a completely different issue and should not be a reason to force players to stay longer than for what they need. There should be better rewards for people to que for example adding anima to the call to arms bag as sure 1000g is nice it’s kinda not worth at the start of a xpac when there is a lot to do in your limited playtime helping randoms is not in that list. Someone queing for the call to arms bag would be quite happy to join in a in progress run as faster in and out for the bag.

Something I’ve noticed is the tank and healer memories are usually last boss (the monk ones anyway) which I’m sure is done intentionally so as to not have those roles bail. I ran sanguine over 50 times on my monk to get my stormstout leggo but the windwalker leggo in the same dungeon I got off first one.

Some tanks are specifically queing even said that in my post above but that is not all of them in fact it’s only a subset. The ones you are looking for are the ones that are comming via random que. that you do get the next tank for and they do not see the progress.

As said if it’s taking a long time it’s due to no tanks queing for random if so that’s a issue that is completely different and should not be addressed by moving loot and forcing players to stay longer. Loot should be where it makes sense within the game not all forced on the last boss. If no one is random queing the call to arms bag needs to be made better to get them to or other insensitives to make random que worthwhile right now it’s not.

The dippers do not think the other 4 are there to meat there needs. They correctly think they are able to join get what they need and leave. This is 100 percent fine and is the intent of the system to make grouping easier to met the needs of the one queing not the group. If it was all about the group there would be no loot what so ever till the end to insure everyone stays to the end every time. While leaving would always give the deserter debuff vs only getting if before a boss kill.

Again, blame Blizzard for tuning the drop rates as low as they did. Given the current drop chance estimates and dungeon completion times, it’d take somewhere in the ballpark of 20-25 hours of constant dungeon spam to get the drop, if they are completed fully each time. It’s not like these tanks (or healers, or DPS) have anything left to gain from those instances, aside from this ridiculously rare legendary recipes.

This isnt just Theater of Pain. This is all dungeons. I have not been able to complete any heroic dungeons today with the first group. Somone leaves after a boss that doesnt drop what they want. Usually the legendary. We need these drops moved to the last boss.

No, we need legendaries that have more than a 2% drop chance.

i q as a tank n i leave after xav

I do too bc you literally have to if you dont want to wait an eternity for the legendary that you NEED. Just make drop rates higher and everything will be fixed.
