true to its name all this dungeon is is pain
I love doing this dungeon.
I feel like it would’ve been a great dungeon if they had made only 2/3 quarters necessary. My only complaint is in mythic+ that it’s a bit on the long side
I loved this place for the pvp session back in the day.
when the other dude was down to pvp anyway. you’d jsut blow off 3 dudes going end that crap.
Hell no, away with your let them win crap. 2 pvp dudes in this crap for the memory…we shall pvp.

i sure dont, the only sl dungeons that werent a massive tiresome slog were nw, mists, and plaguefall
This is one of those dungeons that weirdly grows on you after a while, IMO.
However it is not going to give the dopamine rush of big pulls, with big DPS. However it can be min-maxed quite a bit and at some point, once people have figured out the pathing really well, it becomes really satisfying.
That being said, I know I will get really frustrated at this key when at some point I get sent downstairs with CD’s rolling

Every m+ is too long. It takes an hour to an hour and a half to do the raid and get your 8 slots. It takes around 5-6 hours to get 8 keys done. They really need to look at the time to complete because nothing is worse is getting on for an hour or 2 at night and waste 40 minutes on a key cause someone leaves near the end. 15 minute keys would be absolutely perfect.

i dont know anybody who likes this dungeon, along with alot of other shadowlands crap.
rookery bugged out on my team where all the mobs were evading on the tank.
its just not a great season start.

At least it’s not Necrotic Wake.
Theater of Pain has good music going for it where as Necrotic Wake is all around terrible. Irritating trash, annoying boss mechanics, terrible items, blue Smurf kyrian dorks, the list goes on.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d be happy to not see ToP again either but at least NW is dead and buried for now.

Lol we had floodgate bug. Took out all of the 5 stockpiles. Cleared the flooded area of mobs. Clicked the bomb at the base of the dam to summon swampface. And boom no boss. We waited around for 10 mins and boom he suddenly spawned in. We were well within time till that.
Shadowlands had really good dungeons I felt. I didnt like most of the expansion itself but the dungeons drew me in enough to try mythic for the first time. Maybe it’s why I remember them a bit more fondly.
Is it just me or is motherlode trash to the first boss crazy? We couldn’t do a +2
Although I also seriously need gear lol
