The Wrath of the Lich King Classic Pre-Patch Goes Live August 30

ABOUT FREAKING TIME. WHY NOT JUST SAY AUGUST 30TH BEFOREHAND and not have everyone waiting half of august for some news.

Wanting you to keep that sub active.

That would be the first postive change in all of Classic compared to its original state or some of the non p2w private servers.

it’s all about suspense, it put you at the edge of your seat didn’t it?

They will go away, for a matter of fact they already are unattainable in the ptr and beta so yeah

hello, when does the current arena season end?

and will the honor vendors be removed like on ptr so we can’t buy s2 gear no more?

if the latter is true, then we only have 2 weeks to panic grind honor before they go away.

please let us know.

thanks!

Like literal changes in raid buff mechanic to exactly mirror how they are in retail?

Small indie company

having harder raids is a good thing

No need, tyvm.
I don’t want to mirror every little so called QoL change that also changed a lot in class balances, that made their way into original WoW.
There’s a reason I stopped half way through Cataclysm.
The game became total garbage.

Blizzard disclosing info about PvP? See you 3 days before wrath launch

Can you please confirm/clarify:
-When arena season 4 will end
-Will season 4 gear have rating requirements removed and/or be discounted?
-Will arena points convert to honor as usual? if so, when?
-When will s4 arena titles be given?

Have you not seen the new changes to major cooldowns coming to Wrath classic that exactly mirror retail? In Wrath Reforged we will have heroism/bloodlust on every boss and after every wipe. While I am not opposed to these changes, saying these changes are ok while claiming RDF killed Wrath I can not wrap my head around it lol.

That wasn’t RDF’s fault tho. That was zone and dungeon design.

No, it didn’t…They release info right after the leak dropped. Pointless at its finest.

It absolutely has merit and hasn’t been “disproven”. It’s a fact. Something in it part of the time is not “Wrath”, it’s part of Wrath. I’ve always been an advocate for releasing wrath in true form, class changes by patch and all. Obviously, that’s a lot of work for them. If you look at RDF, it wasn’t really released until the expansion was nearly over in terms of content progression. We went through most of the raids and changes WITHOUT it.

That they are breaking it doesn’t mean by default RDF should be in it lmao. That’s such a bad logical take. It means it could be because they’ve set that precedent, but not that it is or should be. I could just as easily say that they’re rolling out Raids over a period of time and thus RDF shouldn’t be in it immediately and that I’ve “disproven” your take, but I don’t make that claim, because just like yours, it’s a logical fallacy.

They did say it will never be in Wrath. Cool, I was always on the #nochanges train and wanted things released patch by patch in order, yet people all seemed to want the “final, definitive patch” of an expansion. So even those people wanted #somechanges. I wanted a season or two of pre 3.2 41/5/25 mutilate without Envenom being meta, but people don’t want that type of rollout. So I don’t like having changes. But having RDF static or removing it static is a change, it should be added halfway through. But if we have to choose one or another, I’m glad we’re going with the change to not have it rather than the change to have it the whole time.

Yep maths hard lol.

Dungeon design had very little to do with it. But you seem to know why a lot of people quit after Wrath.

would assume it ends the week of the 30th with maintenance.

Just in case anyone missed the comment that has a like ration of 3:1 over the actual post for pre-patch lol.
