I don’t know about everyone else but I am not here for WoW Classic. I am here for WoW WotLK.
Same info given as before, maybe just an oversight or wanting to make it more official. Hope more info starts to come out within the week.

So if you don’t want to tank then don’t tank. Expect the queues to be longer. If you don’t want the queues to be longer, tank.
Imagine applying specific advice designated toward one person to an entire hypothetical group of people that it wasn’t intended for in the first place.
Okay, let’s say I make a rogue. Rogues are pretty bad at questing, not the worst, but not great. Let’s say I just wanna dungeon my way to 70, if your advice is “just tank then” that solves nothing. Sure, I’ll get to run the dungeon instantly, but, the exp is not going to that rogue nor is any gear which rogues are pretty dependant on.
“Just tank then” isn’t the answer, it’s an answer, but not always the right one.

My advice is if you’re complaining about a long queue because of a lack of tanks then play a tank.
If you want to play a rogue then play a rogue. Understand that your queues will be longer because of this.
The original post that I replied to complained of an “8-hour queue”, not necessarily his class. Please read next time.

RDF solves this though, especially for people not on the megaservers.
Because it pulls from several servers, people on low/medium don’t suffer insufferable wait times. This creates more opportunities for people to run things as all it takes is the click of a button queue and you can do whatever you want in the meantime. Sure it might still be a long queue, but you’re not stuck waiting in Shat or on the summoning stone doing nothing waiting for that tank.
It also helps people with irregular hours, some people might have night jobs, or are just night owls in general.
One big argument I see against RDF is “feeling of community” but you’ll still have that sense of community, LFD is not LFR, you’ll still find a guild (or pug) for raids and the like.

…Which is part of classic, it’s wrath classic, it’s the original trilogy. You just suddenly appeared did you, didn’t play classic at all since 2019, no interest in it? You’re just here because the entire game to you is queuing dungeons in an automated tool 24/7 for 2 years apparently

Oh you don’t understand, rogue players are applying to groups for 6 hours straight and getting declined and haven’t been able to do a dungeon in 3 years. Please understand…

What kind of macro could I be using exactly? You’d have to modify the macro for each dungeon, every time you modify the role you’re looking for, etc.

Classic is nothing like WotlK. No matter how much you want to spin it. Trying to turn WotLK into Classic by ripping out features is no different than adding features to Classic.
Guild banks were not added to Classic. There was a LOT of threads requesting that though. Why was that not added? Wasn’t Classic.
Each version of WoW. Classic, TBC, WotLK. Individual games now. You can play Classic still. Soon, you will not be able to play TBC and we will be WotLK. Not a trilogy - versions. Individual versions.

only 10 days to get to 80 before raids open seems kinda short for the average player. should be 14 days.

For the average player, doing the raid day 2 doesn’t matter. It didn’t matter in classic or tbc. It won’t matter now.
