they don’t inspire joy(-con)
Took a few tries to get used to her attack patterns but I downed the Butterfly of Delirium and while I’m sure she’s not all that hard of a boss it felt pretry darned good.
Off to the dried up trenches.
Im really enjoying Code Vein
14/35 Physical switch game’s patched.
I’m 100% sure my SD card is Legit now since it’s got almost 180g on it and nobody’s going to use a 200g base for a bootleg
Final fantasy x/x2 Remaster cart
“Download estimate 16 hours 22 minutes.”
FFX2 is apparently huge.
I want both, but I can’t justify owning them for, uh… 4 systems.
Ps2, ps4, pc…
Good games, though. Worth a play if you havent yet. Except maybe x2, that game is… not really so good. Story, characters and world are great, but, ugh. That combat.
As for me, I’ve beem getting into Zelda again. Botw is fun, but after doing 50 or so shrines in a row to get the master sword… needed a break xD. So, I’ve been playing Ocarina of Time on the 3DS. Is fun - makes me wish I had access to an updated windwaker.
breath of the wild is fun for me because i can scan 50+ amiibo cards and have tons of fun without worrying about weapons.
FFX2 Is a fine game… the audio drama is liquid garbage though
I have never understood the appeal of audio dramas. That’s one of those Japanese imports that just perplex me. I’ve never heard of one existing for any franchise that wasn’t an anime. But I guess FF is sort of an anime if you think about it.
The Black Library WH40k audiodramas are pretty good.
The Final fantasy X2 audio drama literally plays out like a bad roleplay.
Hi i’m the SUPER SECRET NEVER BEFORE HEARD OF Daughter of auron!
Yuna breaks up with tidus for no raisen to shack up with INSERT RANDOM GUY

Sure am happy that I don’t keep with with gaming “journalism”.
In more important news, the new user created Palico design winner is beautiful.
Get your wiggle on!
There’s some pretty good reviewers on youtube. Gameranx is pretty fair and I like ACG’s “Buy,wait for sale, rent, never Touch” reviews. I tend to avoid the big internet publications because they just aren’t that good. When shopping for a new game I want to know about the mechanics/controls, the sound quality and story and if it is fun or not. The desire to get clicks often drives games journalists to make click bait to either get rage clicks or to give the false impression that my shooty war game should make some deeper commentary on how violence is bad IRL.
Darkest Dungeon on GOG is mine weee
Well there was this
So you guys are talking about Code Vein a lot. I looked it up, it looks fun. I like big open world games with long playtimes.
Would this fit the bill?
I think they’re marketed more as audiobooks these days but audio dramas are pretty big in Doctor Who/Torchwood; there’s a company called Big Finish that makes bunches of 'em.
that sounds about right. Fair warning though, it’s a Souls-like, which means brutal difficulty and lots of dying unless you hone your reflexes and master your weaponry.
what’s even funnier is that in the novel prequel to that tidus kicked a ball and blew himself up and died
Oh man I can’t stop grinning right now. For anyone who hasn’t heard-
The new Squenix Avengers game won’t feature the Avengers as the main characters. The main character is Ms. Marvel. Aka Kamala Khan, a woman, and first Muslim superhero. The representation and positivity this brings is fantastic.
Get out your umbrellas though. It’s about to start raining incel AND Proud Boy tears.
I don’t care about super heroes but making garbage people cry will always amuse me.
