Okay. Your opinion is valid. Thank you for sharing.
It isn’t real reassurance without a group hug-n-cry.
I just rewatched it. It was free on Tubi.
I liked it. I didn’t like how they made the orcs giant, like they were Tauren. I didn’t like how they retconned Gamora to be Medihv’s daughter lol.
Other than that, it was fun. They messed up by cutting it so much that people who aren’t familiar with WoW were lost.
That is an opinion…one that very few people share
It was alright. But It makes for a great example of how game IPs should not expand into other media
That’s the biggest problem. They made it so that only people really familiar with lore would understand everything…and the rest of the movie wasn’t good enough to make up for it.
A lot of people nitpicked it instead of getting behind it and pushing so there would be more.
The narrative changes weren’t super great but seeing Azeroth brought to life in live action was pretty cool. I’d be okay with a second movie. Or better yet, a do-over (with a second movie)
What about a movie consolidating each expansion’s story if they stayed completely true to the source material?
That would be easy to sell to a studio. The profits were undeniable. Much of the public is sick to death of cinematic universes, but serials never go out of style.
I agree with this too. It seemed like the movie was catering more to fans than a general audience. It was a choice and a risk.
I still enjoyed it, but my friends who don’t play WoW were confused and I remember having to explain a lot.
still a better movie than “Priest”
Oh, yeah, the vampire bandwagon was dead by 2005.
i liked it
It could’ve been a good movie had there been more sparkles
It wasn’t the worst movie based on a video game ever made.
Needed more skulls
sparkly skulls?
I’ll be your tag team partner. Let’s beat these haters up
I actually really enjoyed it when I saw it back in theaters.
I’d love to see more WoW adaptations, especially around Arthas.
