Heck I was shocked to see a lotta people still playing 3
I might go revisit it. Rogues are fun and all but I miss my Demon Hunter Turret set up lol

The one time they could be smart with it is if they did this
Step 1: Make things very out of reach at first. Making people want them
Step 2: Have a sale
Naw, that’ll die the moment all the new Diablo players login for Season 1 after grinding to 100 by killing the 1000 same goat men in the slight variations of the recycled hallways called dungeons, only to find out they have to do it all over again. The only difference is the goat men now glow bright yellow and have a mythic plus affix.
The hardcore Diablo fans will stay, just like the Hardcore WoW fans stay on WoW, but it definitely won’t retain this initial wave of hype post July. The Diablo 4 story though? Cool stuff imo, excited for a possible expansion.
Its just cosmetic fluff so meh.
Granted I’d knock the prices down by 5 bucks but that’s me
Sadly — Knowing Blizz, I don’t see that happening for a long time … However, there’s been rare occasions where I’ve been surprised - So who knows.
Perhaps they’ll read this, and get some inspiration lol
True.
Easy trick tho to make a problem on purpose then sell the solution.
Man…I’m still so tempted to get that cool Wrath Lord set for my Necro. The emote it comes with is cool too but I’m gonna wait.
No.
Most of WoWs cool armor mogs aren’t thrown behind a cash shop.
Do kinda gotta give the art team props still because even the stuff we can acquire in game looks cool.
Yeah, I’m loving most of the ‘Exceptional’ and ‘Archon’ tier sets in D4.
Diablo 4 didn’t have Diablo in it.
Starfield: Hold my beer.
They are weak.
I used to brag that Star War The Old Republic would def be a wow killer , but someone in my guild at the time said "the only game that will kill wow is wow when it loses its identity " . I thought he meant gets bought out but he meant if it loses all its devs that developed the game . Seems i owe him a drink for being right.
D3 worked pretty good even back preseason, after the launch day authentication server freakout anyway. D4 plays like the servers are hosted on Pluto and the packets are delivered by someone flying out there to get them on punch cards. Feels like playing original Path of Exile predictive server structure. Feels like driving a car with every shock, bearing, and bushing blown. Not into it, just too sensitive to server side movement.
Cosmetics are a micro transaction trap?
I swear people just say stuff and dont know wjat there talkin about
Best druid armors Are non cash shop
Ether way d4 is enjoyable but its not a wow killer
I mean diablo 4 will stay strong no doubt. But it isn’t killing wow either. This isn’t one of those crappy wow killer games that show up twice a year. It’s here to stay.
More like WoW-nado, the undead super Saiyan sharks go to Narnia to fight the Jailer who stole the soul of the world because is an essential ingredient to making cosmic cookies
I mean diablo 4 will stay strong no doubt.
I don’t know. Now that they’ve announced that you are going to have to redo the 100+ hour leveling process every season (3 months?/6 months?) I think its going to lose its appeal for a lot of people.
At least in D3 power leveling was super easy and there were a lot of people willing to do it.
