The Worst Part of Mythic+

The timer. Can’t the reward for finishing a dungeon faster be the time saved and parse rank?

Why can’t the content just be difficult and scaled harder and harder until it can’t be surmounted? Just my 2 cents.

Should stepping away for 2-3 mins during a real life emergency or event really cost someone potentially hours of progression?

Because then people would just wait and pull each pull with lust.

The timer isnt even a factor till higher keys.

The timer might as well not exist. They’re so generous with it. I don’t understand this fixation with it.

There’s a little notch where you can make the timer disappear from your UI.

You can also set dungeon notes to just “Completion” and you will get likeminded people and pretend it doesn’t exist together :slight_smile:

Again, if people want to play the game that way they should.

I don’t understand the fixation with speed running. It takes one turd of a pug to ruin a key.

Ya except you don’t get a better key for finishing then. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Good question. The best groups barely kill most bosses at a 23 right now, and a 50 would be (1.10)^(50-23) = 13.1 times harder than a 23. So I think a 50 would probably be impossible, they just couldn’t defeat the bosses even if they had lust every time! Also, the healer would run oom.

Ya but it’s a badly made point, hence the post.

The reward for finishing a dungeon faster should just be that.

With the timer, if I have a bad player in the group it ruins the key and now I’m back tracking. If there was no timer, I could simply replace them and continue pushing.

Yup. It takes one person to ruin hours worth of work that you may have put in pushing a key.
