The world is a powder keg

It seems almost biblical that the world is about to implode. Between fires, floods, earthquakes, the collapse of economies and the drums of war thundering, it’s hard to tune it all out and just veg out in Warcraft.

How do you manage to tune it out? Even listening to techno and leveling alts, these thoughts are still front and center of my mind.

Sighs and wiggles toes

By accepting there are things I cannot change, doing things that are meaningful when I can, and focusing on things I enjoy when I cannot.

What you did there. I see it

If you’re playing WoW and can’t escape real life nonsense, then sounds like you need to turn off trade chat

Think about it this way. There is absolutely nothing Majinbewm can do to stop the world from going kaboom. So why worry, enjoy playing until the yellowstone caldera upends half the US and puts us all in permanent darkness.

Not with THAT attitude!

Goddess grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

The courage to change the things I can.

And the wisdom to know when to go into survivalist mode and start stockpiling food, water and lots and lots of toilet paper!

What is trade. First thing I do is leave /2 as I get to major cities.

Back to the topic. I guess I have to take comfort in the bible. These things were predicted. The rate that they are ratcheting up is staggering though. Even beyond my expectations.

I will level my monk, but there is an air of melancholy in my soul.

Climate Change is going to make certain natural disasters (the fires, floods, whatever) less of a surprise and more of a seasonal occurrence over time. It’s not going to be some extinction bomb that gets dropped on us overnight. And the bit of silver lining in that is that… we’re basically already used to it. We’re in it already.

As for War? It’s a constant. I can only assume you’re referring to the Middle East. It’s literally been at war nonstop since forever. It’s not a biblical event for that to be a talking point.

See, I filter this out with a combination of playing WoW, cooking, and actively searching for questionable fanart of Alexstrasza for my own personal entertainment.

Climate change is fake
Unprecedented drought in a tiny but beautiful and prosperous island called “Taiwan” when the whole world depend on them the most for semi-conductor manufacturing
Covid is fake
Vaccine is fake and nefarious
Election is fake
Lied to the citizens and fight a fake war in a different country for oil than the one we should be concentrating on all at the same time completely destabilizing the whole region
Unexpected and immediate pull-out of this certain country
Yeah it sure does

Which version of The Bible?

Google: History of Bible edits.

Simple.

I don’t care.

lmao.

This is one of the things which is not a fake unfortunately. We really caused the climate change with the begin of the industrial age and it got worse over the past 150 years.

Usually forms of isolation for me.

I only really peek at the news just to see if the end of days is a good possibility, which isn’t since the bad doesn’t seem to be people mindlessly killing people on tv…then out in the streets or bursting through my window.
