Today, to turn in my Champions of Azeroth emissary, I used my Dalaran Hearthstone, mounted up and flew to the Orgrimmar portal and clicked it. Upon zoning into Orgrimmar, I turned around and clicked the Zuldazar portal. Upon zoning into Zuldazar, I turned around and clicked the Silithus portal. Upon zoning into Silithus, I ran over and talked to Magni. This all made the world feel too small.
Therefore, for the betterment of the game, I suggest that you remove the Silithus portal. That way, upon zoning into Orgrimmar, I (and everyone else even if they don’t share my feeling that the world is too small) will have to mount-up and fly to the Uldum portal, click it, then take the flight path to the Oasis of Vir’sar, and then mount-up and fly into Silithus. This will make the world feel much larger. Thanks in advance.
Yes, but I think she should have gone farther with it - they also need to remove flying completely so you have to hoof it from the closest flight path. And this is of course after they’ve removed all but one flight path from each zone.
No no you’re thinking too small. They should also include a stamina bar so we can only run in short bursts then have to walk until it recharges. Think of the immersion!
portals need to go all together, we need make so you fly to get place. These portals are highly unrealistic and shouldn’t be the game. Nothing makes me feel like throwing my chicken fingers to the floor more then having to use them.
why stop there? they should remove run and make us walk everywhere. that would make the world feel so much larger, and while we slowly walk from quest to quest, we could reminisce about all the good times we’ve had.
IMHO players being able to move takes away from the realism of a world where we should be paralyzed in fear that an angry level 4 pig might run us over. Just have players stand in a pile in the starting zone and /yell about Dazar’Alor carry runs.
While we’re at it, remove all ships and zeppelins from the game and replace them with seven foot rowboats that we have to control in order to get from one continent to another.
