The whole vibe of Undermine is a bummer for me

I’m into the whole medieval fantasy feel of WoW and an entire content patch dedicated to goblins is really such a downer for me. I hate the aesthetic, I hate the way they talk, and I just can’t imagine my Guardian Druid driving around in a car.

How’s the rest of the player base feel? Is Goblin content something you’re looking forward to? Or do you wish it was something else?

Absolutely loving it.

When I played in EU, was a full time goblin and this is giving me big nostalgia vibes. I think something the playerbase has missed out on is a large evergreen actual goblin city and this scratches that itch.

The drive around pays homage to how you navigated the starting area too.

honestly though I feel like there’s not a lot of things cooler than a bear driving a car

I like goblin stuff. They generally have some fun quests/interactions, so I’m fine with it.

Edit: I’m a gnomish engineer, but goblins are still fun and I respect the hustle.

Yes, goblins are hilarious and have always been in wow so the theme fits.

It’s not my favorite theme, but who knows? It could be great.

I think the goblins are a lot of fun in general. Some of my most relaxing moments playing the game were spent treasure chest hunting as my goblin rogue. Made a huge chunk of gold selling old epic drops to collectors.

It’s interesting, but it’s weird the difference in treatment between races. Tons of races get basically nothing, let alone entire patches centered around them and a zone you’d be in for the entire patch

Which race?

Our characters have been in high adventure fantasy level for some time now.

I have to agree with OP. I absolutely despise goblin-themed or gnome-themed things in WoW. The Goblins are always about pollution, robots, engineering…it’s boring really. Not only that, but I won’t be able to escape the theme even while in the raid. :sob:

the tier sets were the make it or break it for me and seeing the warrior set… im on pass lol

the entire concept is garbage imo. goblins suck, I hate heavily race based content, being in a cavern is the second worst environment next to underwater, and lolneedforspeed does not fit wow whatsoever

For me the care ship regarding themes sailed a long time ago when we went not only to the afterlife, but the dimension where afterlives are created. A god dimension.

That was only for corrupted robots suffering from a old god curse and not for normal robots…

It was all robots. Even the First Ones or whatever. Talk about boring.

I’m thrilled we get Goblin content. It’s nice to have variety.

I love goblin stuff, and I’m really excited that they’re finally getting a patch of their own. Yay Undermine!

On Siren Isle, theres a goblin picking up trash on the beach you can talk to who talks about how he hates how messy his people are, and how they pollute everything and how he wants to do things differently.

I felt the same way you do about goblins until I read that, now I’m thinking this update will be a change for good.

This is the first time goblins have ever been a focus of a major patch. Sorry every patch can’t be the human and elf show.
