Hey everyone. I’ve read alot of post regarding the Rag kills/lol difficulty. Just wanted to point out that MC isn’t the end game you should be focusing on. That’s like saying Kara is the end game of TBC instead of Sunwell. Let’s wait for Naxx the true endgame of vanilla err I mean classic.
Also if it didn’t happen on a pvp server the world 1st doesn’t count lol.
Rag world first requires the most commitment out of all the content though. Naxx world first will happen within 2 hours of it being released. MC was more exciting because it was days of hard work and anticipation.
I do not know if I will ever see Naxx 40 as it takes true dedication and with four daughters now, it may be tuff for wife and I to be able to commit to that, but with a little luck, maybe someday. I always said I might be ready 18 months after I ding 60. Who knows, maybe I will, but I am not holding my breath. The game my wife and I fell in love with is back now and we are so so very happy. Our daughter though, lol, she does not understand why we are so happy. She cant play with no flying or lfg system. Funny how the generations are so different.
Well in Vanilla Rag was the endgame at first. Then BWL was added later and that became the endgame. And then AQ and then Naxx.
Rag shouldve been treated as endgame but basically hes just the new version of the old UBRS now. And we’re immediately all going to be in epics just like in retail…
What are you smoking? Rag is no easy defeat. Look, All these people that are being magnified on the social media, this all they do. For 90% of WOW subscribers, this is a game with some long term goals/rewards put in the game for them to enjoy. Go enjoy them! Because some streamers, whom do nothing but play online games every day, you are going to let that remove any hopes of having your day in the victory lane or a online game dungeon. If you want to be in there shoes, then go be a streamer and do nothing but play the game. It is a small window of the streamer that looks 10,000% better than what everyone else has. In reality, it is the very opposite. People let this social media stuff affect their personal lives too much. its one still photo of someone else in a glorious moment and everyone takes it so out of proportion. Unbelievable.
So, heres the deal. If you’re on a PvP server, clearing MC super quick is bad because people will be running around at 60 in the top end gear ganking the hell out of people, And makes it a very uneve playing field. I know it takes weeks to get all the set bonuses, but this is suppose to last a couple months here, not a couple weeks. Im all for pvp, that why i play on a pvp server, but to have people decked out in tier 2 running around blasting people isnt the best idea. Pretty sure if i ran around with a shockadin set up practicality one shotting other players within a month people would be rightly upset and would be very unbalanced.
I can’t speak for anyone else… but the one raid I didn’t do in vanilla was Naxx.
I didn’t lose sleep over it either.
I’m playing classic because vanilla was the most fun I ever had in WoW. Only difference between then and now for me is I’m playing a Mage instead of a Priest. For years Mage has been my alt and after rolling another Priest for classic the 4 hour queue hit on day 2 and I was like “screw it, if I’m rerolling I’m going Mage.”
