The weird characters in peoples names

Just a shout out, I noticed today that if you right-click on someone’s portrait or healthbar there is a “Copy Character Name” option added. No more difficulty typing in those names with weird characters.

I would have preferred being able to shift-click the portrait but this will work.

The whole point of this name is to make me look like a crazy nutcase. Thats why I named my self keyboard while playing a warrior. Now this name gives people the impression of someone who basically just mashed their keys to create this name.

In all seriousness though, I find it so amusing that people get so triggered over a name with special symbols. I mean most of the time people don’t even need to type my name in.

I have a rogue named Catburglar where there’s a symbol over the last a in her name.

I had to have help in figuring out how to make that â, and I just did it wrong there so I still have trouble.
Anyway, I think that’s why some people get triggered. Others, it’s probably because they know more about phonics than I do.

Believe it not I am the only person named Cryptogansta in the entire game with or without special symbols. I added these symbols to come as more edgy and villainous. However…

Crypto without symbols is taken in almost ever realm.

Well my raid leader declines players with alt codes in their names.

Tbh I used to do it just to avoid weird stalker/trolls.

Yes the funny characters don’t make you immune, but maybe at least tougher.
