Blizzard has been trying to regain credibility and trust with players. I don’t think this was a 3D chess moment as much as someone thought it was cool and just wasn’t in touch with how players are feeling at this moment. They listened and that’s cool.
It’s been a slow, agonizing process of rebuilding trust after years of the “what, you guys don’t have phones?” mentality.
They literally have pysch on staff to help manipulate the playerbase lol
I saw a screenshot with a vulpera in it and his little snoot sticks out and it’s extremely cute.

This was something I was worried about and I was very disappointed when we got the confirmation. So many had been waiting for a Warden set for so long.
I am very happy Blizzard listened and made this change. Everyone wins.
To be fair, the best part of this Mog will be watching Maiev have multiple aneurysms watching Orcs, Forsaken, Mages and Demon Hunters walking past in the garb of a Warden.
I’d love to see variants like the gorgeous “Hordewarden” Maiev skin from HotS. I adore that look!
