The War Within Should Have Followed Shadowlands Not Dragonflight

This is going to be a slightly hot take that will ruffle some feathers but something that should be said:

Dragonflight has been a narrative disaster and in my opinion, is worse than Battle for Azeroth and Shadowlands across the board.

This feels like a filler expansion that will be entirely forgotten to the annals of time (except for Amirdrassil).

The War Within, given it’s significance (The World Soul Saga) should have followed directly after Shadowlands. What conceivable narrative impact will the Incarnates (outside of Iridikron) have on the narrative in the foreseeable future?

All of them lived and died in the Dragon Isles and had no observable impact on the whole of Azeroth - this is actually pathetic.

Fyrakk managed to break the barriers between reality and the Emerald Dream yet he was hit with the ‘succumbed to corruption and acts like an idiot’ stick even though he could have been everything Neltharion wasn’t.

Frankly, I hate this expansion from a narrative point of view and if it were deleted it would have less of an impact than Shadowlands ten-fold.

To the writers (likely Danuser & co.):

- Better luck next time - get rid of this garbage friendship family bull____ and bring back actual stakes in the story of this game

- This is World of Warcraft, not Marvel Cinematic Universe
