The War Within Season 2 Mythic+ Updates Ahead

Blizz just needs to decide what they want out of mythic+ in terms of gearing.

Do they want it to be a real, stand-alone, alternative end game gearing path parallel to raiding?

Or is it an arcade smash for easy gear and some people push for score later?

It seems it’s pretty unanimous the players prefer the latter and Blizz is responding to that. And maybe that’s the smart move.

If you remove Valorstone needs for Veteran track and up and you can put a bow on it.

How will this effect KSM/KSH? Like right now, to get KSH, you need to do mostly all 10s, and currently, there are four affixes at 10, whereas with the new system, there will be three. No one wants to be doing 12s for KSH, or 10s for KSM.

this doesnt address any of the issues at all. basicaly season1 again which everyone knows was garbage.

Really wish theyd do this

It will become dramatically easier because the same key levels are required from what we know, but those levels are dropped very far in terms of difficulty.

Thank you for clarifying. That change came before my time as far as being involved with M+ but I knew it was a thing at one point.

Or have valorstones drop like candy and warband transferable. Like 200 from completing any M+. 150 from any delve etc.

Yeah, and the thing was, you did not get an extra piece of loot for timing a key, you only get it if you chested a key.

So the incentive was to do better then just timing the key.

If you’re making a blanket statement about all the changes and saying it doesn’t address ‘any of the issues’, I’m guessing either your issues are with classes rather than M+, or you want to see myth gear dropping directly and/or from the vault sooner than +10.

There would be no reason for them to exist for Vet track and up then, so why exist for those?

Ok now revert the tank self-sustain nerfs, healing changes, and the changes to aoe stops and casting.

Also once you time all dungeons at a level 3, then your keystone will not deplete below a three. This perk should start applying to people as they enter the mythic plus system, it serves much less purpose for players at the +12 range and above.

These changes are a solid win. Filling vault with 10s will be way less painful, and I may actually try for the 3k mount.

Oh hell you know what, here is a wild idea.

Why not have key depletion be a dynamic thing that scales as you increase your M+ score?

Oh look you timed everything on a 5+ or better? Guess what? you key can never go below a 5+ now. Means high level key pushers can even sherpa lower levels and still not be completely screwed over by them.

So you’ll still do 8-9-10s to get KSH, but itll feel like the current 6-7-8s

Blizz needs to embrace game modes where you can log in and just play. That’s what most of their customers want these days and why M+ has been so successful.

And honestly, the easy gear farm from M+ was nerfed pretty hard in TWW. It’s near the end of the season and there are still a lot of players stuck 20 ilvl’s below max.

Who gives a crap any more, nothing in wow matters in terms of prestige anymore since blizzard ends up giving it away and blizzard has shown they have zero intentions to even try and stop it as it is.

The people who come on here daily and complain about boosted players definitely do.

So no one that actually matters?
