The War Within Season 2 Mythic+ Updates Ahead

Maybe for quite a few, but it still has its serious endgame progression above a +12 now for those actually pushing and looking to get more serious. It is its own leaderboard progression in the end where ideally gear shouldn’t matter and just team comp and skill.

Delves serve a small group more chill progression purpose that can educate new players and old how to play various classes and boost their confidence in content. Even then it offers its own form of progression for those that may not be as hardcore and gives them nice loot for it and some fun cosmetics. It’s cool something new exists.

Keeping it all just raids does keep it simple, but relegates dungeons back to one and done and removes alternate forms of permanent progression for players. I don’t see why that existing is bad.

If I want more chill easier content I can do that in all of these forms of endgame.

Perhaps that all said it feeling simple with just raiding again might help the game go back to simpler times, though people in WoD were pretty sweaty even then.

I just assumed everyone caught their alts up with gilded crests from raiding since keys were too much of a hassle.

M+ is the most popular end game activity. Caling it an utter failure is just incorrect. A very large portion of WoW players wouldn’t be playing this game without M+.

My issue with this season is mainly that they just kept kicking the can down the road on fixes until the next season came out. I literally don’t see any reason why they couldn’t have implemented all of these changes months ago.

So, instead of bad people doing +7 next season, we are going to have bad people doing +8 or +9

Good one blizz.

Also, first affix on +7 is completely stupid.

LFR is dude, and probably Delves. 34% of players got Keystone explorer this season, I’d hardly call that the most popular content.

M+ players are some of the most insufferable gamers I have ever come across in all my years of gaming.

I doubt you even do m+.

Gatekeepers tears lol

the most popular feature ever added into the game bro.

I get it, but these are good changes overall and should lead to more participation.

You have all the addons and tools in the world to gatekeep these people out of your groups. Its not blizzard job to do it for you.

In your opinion. 34% of players got Keystone explorer this season. That just screams the most popular thing

They said “end game activity,” not story mode. Dude.

They’re just numbers. Get over yourself.

What matters is what numbers keep the most players subscribed.

LFR isn’t endgame? Another Maze + big brain take on display here.

From Mythic 2 through 10, each new level will now increase the health and damage of enemies by 7%, down from the previous 10%. Per-level scaling will remain at 10% for Mythic 11 onwards

|Mythic|(base)
|Mythic 2|+7%
|Mythic 3|+14%
|Mythic 4|+23%

|Mythic 8|+61%
|Mythic 9|+72%
|Mythic 10|+84%
|Mythic 11|+102%
|Mythic 12|+122%

Should it not be this then.

if its only going up 7% per lvl?

Nope, because it’s 7% on each level.

140% to 150% is roughly 7% increase.

1/3 of the playerbase did this thing would indeed imply it’s popular

Huh?
If you mean like removing the strange raid id system, allowing for flexible group sizes I can definitely get with that. There are aspects of the raid that are stuck in a time warp. But the personal responsibility is a joke, in terms of difficulty. It’s completely scripted at all times, there aren’t any affixes, you use core rotational abilities only, and you have exactly one job. The hardest part about raid is finding 19 other people you don’t hate, who have thumbs and a pulse, and don’t mind listening to a raid leader 6 to 12 hours a week at the exact same time.
