I’d disagree. I am of the mind that M+ should not reward more than 1/6 mythic track at all.

I’d say people should take this as a huge gift and enjoy it. There doesn’t need to be more. These changes are already massive and bigly appreciated by me.

With gilded crests coming from 7s it doesn’t matter what rank your myth track piece drops at.

Portals should have been for 12s with the revamp in TWW.

With the upgrade system they essentially already are

I was apprehensive about maining BM hunter next season until I read the article.

What does BM have to do with anything (considering that exact thing myself)

Nothing does. My 628 ret can outperform my 635 shadow in most situations other than single target.

And I mean pure single target. Throw a few adds into the fight and my ret will do better than my spriest.

I get that. But what did this article have to do with any of that? What did the m+ nerfs change concerning what to main?

The keys will be easier, so I can play a less optimal class.

Move key depletion changes to +7. I don’t see why this in particular has to be a chore every season.

Thanks for reminding me of the thing I forgot to put in my earlier post, though I think it should truly just be lowest timed key for current season. It’s much more straight-forward to code, honestly.

Just pay for all your 7 key carries if you need hard carry groups for your gilded crests

The key depletion changes should just apply to any level once you’ve timed everything of level X. Making it 12+ is only a benefit for 1% of the playerbase that pushes keys past the gear cap.

The other changes are nice since they make M+ that overlaps with delves slightly less pointless, but I think overall it won’t be viewed that much differently in practice once the season starts since you still need to hit +10 for your one mythic item a week.

And theres the rub

Getting carried to max gear reward level and then getting carried and running completion runs non stop with no repercussions.

Thats a poor choice
