The War Within Hotfixes - October 16

Still arachnid’ed, you mean

Spray it with Raid.

Our guild banks are still empty.

Where is the fix that resolves people not gaining any progression towards vicious saddles WHILE above require rating???

The word should is really pulling its weight on this one.

Still do not have all 3 achievements and I am max rep with all 3.

Crest are still not rewarded for rated BG Blitz. Do BG Blitz players not deserve crests? Or will this be fixed? Can we have the crests we would have earned this last week granted to us?

I think its pretty clear that fixing bugs that negatively affect players is not their priority, it forces you to grind more once its fixed

Otherwise, why would they fix a bug granting progression for the PVP mount below the required rating, but not fix the bug NOT granting progression for it, when you are ABOVE ranking?

They were notified, we send bug reports in the game, we create topics stating the issue, and nothing was done.

I bet you, if you were being rewarded MORE crests than intended, it would be fixed immediately, but NOT gaining stuff? that can wait a month or more easily for then

Classes

  • Death Knight
    • An issue causing Subduing Grasp to be applied to the current target rather than the Death Grip target has been resolved.

Dungeons and Raids

  • When Xal’atath’s Bargain: Oblivion is active, Oblivion Crystals now move towards a player if they fail to find an enemy in combat.
  • When Xal’atath’s Bargain: Voidbound is active, the player buff effects are now 20% Versatility and 30% Cooldown Reduction (was 50% Cooldown reduction and 15% increased healing received).
  • The Necrotic Wake
    • The effects of Bloody Javelin no longer stack.
    • Zolramus Gatekeeper’s Wrath of Zolramus periodic damage reduced by 25%.
    • Skeletal Monstrosity’s enemy forces contributions increased by 20%.
    • Surgeon Stitchflesh’s health reduced by 20%.
    • Stitchflesh’s Creation’s Festering Rot damage reduced by 30%
  • The Stonevault
    • Skarmorak’s health reduced by 10%.
    • Skarmorak is now stunned for 4 seconds (was 2 seconds) after Fortified Shell is broken.
    • Skarmorak’s Crystalline Eruption damage reduced by 15%.
    • Void Speaker Eirich’s health reduced by 10%.
    • Increased the cooldown of Entropic Reckoning.
  • Nerub-ar Palace
    • The Silken Court
      • Mote duration before explosion increased to 20 seconds (was 15 seconds).
      • Void Degeneration and Burning Rage now kill the player at 4 stacks (was 3).
      • Fixed an issue with Anub’arash not casting Spike Storm if in the very middle of the room when it burrows.

Quests

  • “Emissary of War” should now progress its criteria when players complete a Season 1 Heroic dungeon.
  • Fixed an issue where Nerub-ar Finery for “The Finer Things” would continue to drop after reaching the intended weekly cap.
    • Developer’s note: Players with an unintended surplus of Finery will not be able to turn in the extras.

So another day the bug on the vicious saddle progression will be ignored

Wrong thread.

Mistweaver monk hps buffs when?

Also the Celestial Hero Tree cooldown is still broken and can/will stop after one pulse. This is a pretty major issue you keep ignoring.

fun detected. of course they’d nerf a valuable asset in those dungeons /sigh.

Quests

  • Granted Nerub-ar Finery to characters who were put into an incorrect state after killing a Mythic raid boss before a previous hotfix was applied to the quest “The Finer Things”. If you’re not seeing the change on the affected character, log in and out of the game.

Really? 1 bug fix? That’s all yall got done today when there are so many other bugs? Does anyone work there anymore?

Uh what? are we getting the classic cataclysm dev team now? only 1 bug fix every 6-8 weeks?

Some other stuff has been hotfixed that isn’t mentioned in the notes, for what it’s worth. Like it was never documented that the weekly event buff got updated to TWW and isn’t for DF anymore.

Aside from that, just because something hasn’t been hotfixed doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t being worked on. It’s pretty annoying at times when it feels like their priorities may not be aligning with what players are experiencing, but we don’t really know what their workflow looks like, either.

Still waiting on guild bank restoration! Or at least more acknowledgment than that one post weeks ago.

Ok well excuses aside, communication should be worked on.

Communication could always be ‘worked on’, but to what degree differs depending on who you ask.

For most players, they won’t see what Blizzard communicates regardless.

For some, they’re at the other end and essentially want a private DM with someone on the dev team that feeds them constant updates on everything that’s going on.

Then there’s everything that falls in between. Some of which includes the people who see ‘it’s being worked on’ but then still want further updates even though there isn’t really anything between ‘it’s being worked on’ and ‘it’s fixed’ most of the time.

My expectations is any communication, I’m not asking for a book. Ignoring weekly quests not even resetting is garbage. Ignoring when they nerfed cloth drops and stealth fixed it over a week later, also garbage. That’s just 2 examples. This conversation is done, because I don’t have all day to defend what pretty much all involved players are asking for. I’ve played the game since vanilla and this is the worst. DF was fine, what happened? Maybe Microsoft is to blame.
