So Death Knight is just getting shipped out completely crippled and hobbled with Prot Warrior potentially following.

So I can just safely assume blood is just getting nerfed because of dps specs again?

I really cant wait. I have been quite bored past few days. I despise Undermine with a passion, cant get more than 40 frames at any one time anywhere. And goblins are boring.

Ethereals are way more interesting.

Was in that boat…remember the hierarchy of what is being removed. KSL, PVP, raid in that order.

Anything going away when this goes live? I that Dastardly Duos, Greedy Emissary, and Collector’s Bounty go away before release. Anything else going away?

Oh don’t worry. I’m far less ambitious. For me it’s just delves and tier sets. I got at least one colour for each class set in season one, so I’d like to do the same for two. But given the time constraints I’ll settle for getting lfr druid and normal dk. The best sets. I did ? Underpin tonight, so I’ll work on ?? this coming week.

Prot Warrior is currently competing with VDH for the best tank spot on the PTR.

Delves and tier sets for me too, lol.
Then my guild will kidnap me and drag me kicking and screaming to KSM near the end of the season.

Hmm then that potentially is wrong.

Still not a fan of losing Spell Block but that’s reassuring.

lmao.

When it was announced that Midnight would be getting a full reveal on August 20th?

There’s no surprise here that they’re pushing the patch out ASAP. They have to get the end-of-raid cinematic out and story done before that happens… and wouldn’t you know it? Two weeks before the event.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they start pre-orders for Midnight on August 20th.
Which is precisely why the schedule matters more than the quality of the content.

Makes you wonder what the disaster’s gonna be if the playerbase rejects the cinematic?

No, when there’s trouble you call for Super Chicken.

Since when has that ever mattered? Cata end cinematic was terrible, WoD end cinematic was terrible, BfA end cinematic was extra terrible, SL end cinematic was turbo terrible…and yet wow keeps rolling.

I don’t think it’s ever been this close to the last content release and the new expansion “reveal”… so the reception of that cinematic is undoubtedly going to play a major role in how people are going to react to whatever they’re going to showcase with Midnight. It’s going to be fresh on players’ minds, particularly since we’re also having the story go from one story to the next rather than the usual “reset”.

It’s a gamble on Blizz’ part.

If the cinematic is well-received, it’s arguably going to bolster the next expansion.
If the cinematic is reviled, they’ll be met with boos and pre-orders could crater.

I will wait until Asmongold tells me what to think about the cinematic.

I’m surprised the patch is launching a week earlier than we expected. The 8-week cadence between nearly every other patch was pretty consistent until this.

Makes me think they want the RWF completed by the time Gamescom rolls around, and also perhaps have given people enough time to digest whatever TWW’s epilogue is.
