I get “Incompatible” for the servers.
Well they did use the male skin texture and just put it over a “female” body, a placeholder like so much back then.
But in general, everything was so big back then, the char so small and all these buildings, huge! Today everything is somehow smaller 
But on each corner some NPC to repair stuff.
They were so rare back in the days, Alpha had hardly any NPC´s as I remember and so many textures were green or grey haha.
its so frustrating is was genuinely so excited to play the beta but its literally unplayable maybe later this week itll be more usable but trying to play it at the moment is more frustrating than anything else since ur stuck in blue bar purgatory for 99% of ur time “playing” the beta.
In essence, this is B.E.T.A. 
Get used to that. That’s a lot of beta. Random crashes. World servers down, etc. If you want to “play” and not have interruptions do one of the 4 versions of live wow.

Guess that is my feedback.
I was able to create a character and copy a character when it first came online before I got disconnected after trying to turn in a quest. Now, neither character is there. It’s definitely a bumpy ride, but that’s Beta for ya 
Blizzards bungling and incompetence are always entertaining…
Having to rebind all my keys is my worst nitghmare, I just wanted to copy my chars,

You obviously don’t know who he is… beta is a special early access of the final polished product exclusively for elite players like him so that he can get a head start and ahead of the plebs.
What are you going to tell him next - that the beta character progress doesn’t transfer to live?!

My character is stuck in game already.
Whelp…we done it guys. We overloaded the beta servers so bad that nobody can play.
