The War Within Beta Test Now Live!

Those are PTR servers. The thing is that the PTR and Beta is connected. So what you are login in to (in the WoW TWW beta client) is the PTR account. The servers you are seeing are the PTR servers which still are dragonflight servers thus saying incompatible. No one have received access to the Beta yet. It’s only the client that is available.

You should be able to login to https://account.battle.net/games#game-accounts to see what accounts those correspond to.

What if you have the beta downloaded, but go into your account and under game & subscriptions TWW beta is not showing up? This would cause an issue with authentication when logging in to play the beta correct? Just asking so I can get ahead of this, so I can get it resolved once we can access the servers.

Should I be able to log in to the servers now? Cause I cannot. I see conflicting reports that some say it’s live yet still many people are seeing incompatible realm lists. Just kinda frustrating with the vague responses the devs are giving.

And which account are we supposed to choose when the servers are up? My main account, the one with the TWW Epic Edition on it, doesn’t even show as an option. I just see WoW1 (an inactive account) and WoW9 (a PTR account).

From the article- In the Game Version drop-down menu above the Play button, choose The War Within (listed under In Development) option, then click Install

You SHOULD see it show up if your account has access to the beta. It should say “The War Within Beta” in the Game Version dropdown under the “In Development” section.

Yep. Still here. Almost 18 years now. I’m doing more behind the scenes and Kaivax and Linxy are more up front. Same team.
