The Vindicaar: Why not in use

So, for the lack of any real reason in lore for why the Vindicaar hasn’t been used, I think I’ll try my own theory at it. The reason being? It is far to important to the Draenei to risk it being lost to a battle against the Horde. It contains ancient artifacts from the Crown of the Triumvirate, to ancient knowledge of the eredar, to a forge that preserve the lingering power of two ancient naaru. Not just that, but some of the greatest draenei minds, such as Romuul, remain onboard. It is also one the greatest modern achievements of the Draenei, a ship that brought the Legion’s end, highly symbolic, and one of the last Dimensionial Ships the draenei have.

Basicly, if it got destroyed (And there be a long history of draenei ships getting wrecked), it be a large blow to the draenei race. Best to keep it away from direct battle, so it can’t be harmed.

The thing is the best potential of the Vindicaar is its ability to transport troops very fast, it doesn’t even need to be in the front, thanks to its beacons and its speed it could change everything. Imagine evacuating Teldrassil thanks to the Vindicaar, that would have been a lot faster.

However, Blizzard doesn’t want to tell this story so no Vindicaar.

is like blizzard doesn’t think in advance about the power and technologies that they give to one faction. and didn’t really think about the consequences about having a fully operational interdimensional spaceship that can literally travel to the speed of light.

I think when asked blizz said that they left it out because it didnt fit with their “vision”. What this to me meabs is they didnt want to think how with this one ship the alliance would hold a maasive advantage in fire power and moblity. The idea they dont want to risk it is silly given it was parked out side legion HQ abd the legion has space ships the horde dosen’t. Still if they dud bring it in the horde would destroy it to maintain balance (well the writters woykd) and there would be memes of catapult fire not burning hot enough to melt crystals.

they could just say that they ran out of argunite or whatever they use as fuel and now are currently searching for alternative sources of energy, probably azerite.

That would require them to be creative also the ship was made on azeroth so whatever powers it should be there even if it is magic soace crystals. The writers were just lazy.

The same reason blood elves and nightborne aren’t creating massive Barriers around undercity when the alliance come. The night borne aren’t using telemancy to invade kul’tiras, the night elves aren’t calling on the wild gods, and many other races aren’t using their Trump card abilities. It takes the spot light away from the characters they want to focus on. Could you imagine the vindicator flying in with the light forged to breach the walls of undercity? How would jaina fly in on her magic boat and save the day? Could you imagine the elves using barriers? How would slyvanas show us how edgy and evil she is by blighting and raising the dead if they used barriers?

Because the Horde and Alliance are inexplicably a million times more capable than literally anyone else and thus the Vindicaar would be infiltrated and destroyed in one questline by a meme character should it ever show up in BFA.

The Vindicaar is currently busy trying to evade the Horde’s magical catapults that can shoot in space. You can’t see it, but it’s being pursued by rocks at this very moment in Azeroth’s orbit.

Dumass’ time to shine.

Dumass is a named forsaken, as such he will be killed by the horde players.

It’s a game in which man with sword swiftly dispatched an actual tank.

So…the Vindicaar would not make a difference. We’d just take it down with Tauren poop bombs or something, like we did the Legion ships.

Do you know what solves this vindicar being too powerful thing? Having it be damaged as sargaras got sucked into his prison.

Blizzard has expansions planned out years in advance they knew bfa was next. They also didnt plan bfa in a bubble, syvanis was made warchief in legion with the express purpose of kickstarting the faction war.

Possibly the same reason why superman didn’t one-shot Batman in Batman Vs superman (even though he very possibly could if he wanted to).

Because Draenei ships are delicate as Easter Eggs And their cannon pretty much has to be in point blank range of its target. You’ve have graphic evidence of how easy the thing is to take down.

Again, it is not about its lasers

When I saw the cut-scene of the ship coming back to Azeroth, I thought this will be a great way to open up other worlds beyond Azeroth. The lore of the Warcraft is about the titans, old gods, and the various worlds. So I keep hoping to see Warcraft 2, Beyond Azeroth. They could use the ship to get us to other worlds as a start of our new adventures or if they are coming from another world to X world(WoW2) if the new characters are not from Azeroth.
As to my reasoning, the ship that came back should be parked above the Broken Shores and could be used to launch us into a new Era. I love Warcraft, but the game is build on 15 years of layers. So a new Warcraft, with new character customization, and new frame work would be GREAT. Maybe this is just me hoping for a new world, new stories, new characters with more customization or another game by a company that knows how to write a good story.
I can see us using that ship to go places and I am itching to go some place with that ship. Maybe it is me looking back at MEA and going they failed because they did not have the patience to fix the game before launching it. However, the way they did the launching to other worlds was great. The Vindicaar could be the savior and could be used to launch us to other worlds similar to what MEA did or didn’t do.

Transport wise it’s useful for delivering reinforcements, but you likely need beacons to get the people were you want them. Artillary wise it’s useless, the only place it is safe, in orbit, it can’t reliably hit anything. Lasers get weaker the further they travel and it’s strongest one requires to be point blank to do anything. and aiming would be a chore, plus stuff like the atmosphere and clouds will get in the way and weaken the laser even more.

As for why it isn’t used it’s simple.

Blizzard doesn’t care about writing a consistent story.

Technically, every time a Lightforged player uses their racial ability, they’re calling down an orbital strike, so it is possible to ask for bombardment.

And the lightborne racial tickles most things.
