The valor point system is better than anything in BFA

Fishing for Gettiku on KR+15 every season
VS
Valor points to upgrade Zin’khas, Blade of the Fallen God + any key level to ilv220

Would it be better if it went to 226 with all keys at +18? Sure. Is it better than anything in BFA’s systems? 100%.

It’s a better system.
You are all crazy for not agreeing.

Don’t change my mind.

Better than the basically-nothing of BfA? Of course.

Better than the original Wrath-through-Mists VP/JP model? Not in the slightest.

Just because something could be worse, doesn’t make it good.

If they directly copypasted the old system people would still find a way to complain, they aren’t happy unless they can convince themselves that playing Shadowlands is the equivalent to being waterboarded

This is what it feels like.

I will actually go back to doing M+ when this lands. I’m very, very excited to have two largely deterministic gearing paths to work on. Best thing to happen since we got our PvP vendor back.

naaan it’s a fail.

So I need to WAIT for patch

THEN refarm all of my gear

THEN do all at M+5

THEN upgrade ONE item and do it again. No thanks

Who is it targeting , though ?

Ppl with bad loot ? then fix your rng not valor
Ppl to get better loot than the content they do ? but there are hard caps to prevent that

So who ?

How is a system 100% reliant on you getting good RNG to get the item you want deterministic?

LOL

It’s a terrible system.

1.Loot doesn’t drop

2.Most people who will use the system, already have the max ilvl that you can obtain from it so the upgrades are pointless

Nonsense.

In bfa, you could straight up get high level drops from just running the dungeon to begin with.

The only tricky part was azerite gear. But BFA was objectively easier to gear in. It’s not even comparable.

“See this here bucket of vomit? It’s better than that hat full of turds we just had!”

That’s what this sounds like.
