Turalyon is not, nor has he ever, been shown as overly fanatical towards the Light. While initially outraged Illidan killed Xe’ra… of course he was she was his superior, but he did relent.

do you recall how light glow faded from him when Xe’ra died. I think he was or is a light fanatic. His wife was impressioned for something so little and he did nothing.

Also Turalyon is part of the alliance, and the alliance can never be bad or evil.
