The upcoming class changes highlight exactly what is wrong with Blizzards class design team.
Warriors are crushing all forms of content right now. Thats a good thing, let them have a moment in the spot light. Beast Mastery arent great right now. Thats a good thing, let hunter try other specs.
Not ever class needs to crush every patch
Not every spec needs to be viable every spec
Limiting focus to numbers alone doesn’t leave room to address the real quality of life issues the classes still have.
BM is actually very good in AoE fights lol, I think it’s decent for PvE.
PvP though? Yeah BM is hot garbage compared to the other two specs.
with a 300% increase to multishot and many other abilities; I think Blizzard disagrees with that. Gratz on the crazy buffs though. Personally, I would rather they fixed pet pathing over a multishot buff.
I’m glad you’re not a class dev
End game is too important in this game for balance to not be a major factor

Crazy insight there. really deep thoughts.
Quality of life should be priority. Numbers can come afterwards.
If one or two speccs is drastically out performing another in the same category. They should probably fix the one that’s lagging behind.
If one or two classes is massively out performing all other classes to a degree that is noticable, then either other classes need to be buffed or that class needs to be tuned down depending on the discrepency.
That’s how balancing works.

No arguing against balancing, to a degree; I am saying that classes need a time to shine. That someone has to be at the bottom of the dps each patch and thats ok.
I am saying that blizzard uses balancing numbers to bandaid over issues that need quality of life adjustments.
Back to hunter: A 300% multi shot buff doesnt fix the pathing issue with pets which is a leading reason they have lower DPS then other specs.
Problem is we get barely finished classes at launch and then its just a bunch of bandaid fixes while waiting for a .5 path for the classes 100th rework. Just to repeat for the rest of the expansion just to go into another expansion with the same exact issues.

We should all argue for quality of life fixes.
Blizzard is always, perpetually, playing catch-up with class balance.
To the point where I think they just leave most classes alone, and only really work on the worst offenders of the bunch.
If you happen to be an S+ meta class, congratulations, but it was probably by accident lol.
I agree with that; I would rather play a well functional class that is under performing than a broken mess of a class that throws out numbers.
Pretty much, They just get it through 1 tuning pass and then move on. Worst part is how blind 1/2 the player base is with it. falling back on the whole “GIT GUD” mindset. Meanwhile were over here on our 3rd round of buffs.
No, Blizzard needs to fix monks so that they have engaging and compelling gameplay.
They need to ignore the graphs and charts and focus on the gameplay, class fantasy, spec functionality, and overall enjoyability.

Oh you mean like buff as in muscular… so like buff monks = muscular monks?

i dont understand why warrior keeps getting hated every expansion
People hate the top class no matter what it is, unless its their class, then its great.
Yeah I love being pushed towards specs I have no interest in playing. Great take man.
