Today, as I looked at season 2’s honor gear compared to season 1’s conquest gear, I noticed something: the secondary stats (like haste and versatility) are roughly the same. However, intellect, which boosts damage, increased by about 25%. Stamina rose by 50%.
I compared similar gear parts between the two (chest to chest, staff to staff).
This indirectly is a warlock buff, because many warlock abilities scale directly with current HP, like Dark Pact, Demonic Healthstones, Mortal Coil.
Just saying, in order to make us all feelz less neglected by Blizzard T_T

Yes it is sort of a buff, but it doesn’t excuse them breaking demonic gateway. I’m hella salty about it
warlock and buff dont belong in the same breath. This has to be the most disappointing pvp ive ever experienced on this warlock. Love the idea of aff, but the QoL is terrible. mobility is absolutely absurd compared to every melee out there.
Think about how many buffs melee received over the past few months and warlocks got nerfed several times. Were like 5 buffs behind. Dont forget about indirect nerfs, like soul rot being shadow now makes it infinitely harder to cast ANYTHING.
The fact every class gets new stuff, like monk for example big dmg is Celestial conduit. idk what that even is. Point is as a warlock you have to keep up with the myriad of changes all classes receive, and everyone else just has to remember to always kick anything shadow from affliction. make sure to always kick soul rot. just wait until 90% cast to make precog unattainable. Its literally been like this FOR YEARS.

Things could be worse.
See what has happened to shadow priests … basically a severely toned-down version of affliction warlocks in PvP with less burst, less powerful DoTs, less mobility, less survivability, no permanent pets, fewer burst cooldowns, less damage mitigation, can only cast flash heals if spell locked, etc.
