Do the highelves have a specific spokesperson or leader at all? My first thought is alleria but she seems preoccupied with the velves. Not that they necessarily need a leader just wondering
Vereesa leads the Silver Covenant which is probably the largest and most organized group of High Elves in the game.
Outside of that, weāve seen Captain Auric Sunchaser act as a diplomat for the High elves visiting the Sunwell.
Vereesa leads the Silver Covenant, which is the largest known group of high elves.
Besides her, Captain Auric Sunchaser, one of Alleriaās subordinates in the Second War, has taken position as high elf representative in the Sunwell.
Wow, we posted the same thing at the same time.
(And we use the same cowlā¦ hmmm)
Yeah. Thats kinda funny.
And the same bow with the same appearance.
I actually thought the same person accidentally posted the same thing twice haha thatās funny. Good to know that this information seems common (not to me obv)
Bladimara.
Weāve known each other for a while. We like to talk about lore and possibilities and stuff.
Its also nice to have a friendly conversation with someone who wants to learn instead of someone who thinks they know everything. (I mean, not that Iām claiming I know everything myself!)
Thanks I think itās interesting and thereās so much wow lore I get confused about. Iām down for alliance getting highelves as a raceā¦ But we know that blizzard would never do that without also giving horde a race so wonder what it would/could be. I personally wouldnāt care if they gave alliance highelves but didnāt give horde anything but yea
Well, I know itās a long shot- but I think thereās still a chance. Iāll keep posting here, and giving my encouragement and support.
You never know what might happen.
I have the impression that Blizzard planned to make high elves playable as a counterpart to the Hordeās nightborne, only to change plans at the last minute.
Thereās some evidence of the high elves being built up throught Legion, while the void elves we ended up with were a very late idea that had no time to mature. I explained it better here:
Anyway, personally I think the chances of high elves becoming playable are very small, but I still support the thread because I feel we canāt stay silent if we are against a decision Blizzard took. We may not get exactly what we want, but thereās always a chance for a better compromise.
Donāt worry about that, we are very aware that playable races always comes in pairs, one for each faction to maintain balance, except the Pandarem because both factions can play them so thereās no inequality as they are the only Neutral race in the game.
By the way, in the Horde side people are asking for Vulpera, Sanālayn and Ogres, any of those could be paired with High Elves.
Either another Thalassian Elf - most likely Sanālayn
Or a Warcraft Horde race - Forest Trolls (Revantusk) or Ogres.
Or maybe Lightforged Blood Elves to be the Hordeās first lore-lacking Allied race!
Since the release of the warcraft book Before The Storm I think it was (I never read it). I was thinking for sure that light-risen forsaken would become an alliance allied race with calia menethil leadingā¦ But thatās a bit off topic from the high elf megathread
Some people hinted that, but the overwhelming majority reject the idea completely, it pretty much undermines the Undead fantasy of Warcraft
From the looks of it thatād piss off more people on both factions than make them happy.
I was expecting something like that until the latest Q&A, when Ion and Lore said that they had finished all the preplanned allied races and were now working based on player feedback.
My original predictions for next allied races were junker gnomes, āredeemedā undead, vulpera and ogres. If you wanna know my reasons, this post explains it better:
After the Q&A, I say the chances for sethrak and sanālayn to be among the next allied races have increased.
Agreed. And I think in Lore, seeing a forsaken for most people is kind of sickening. Iām thinking a lot of members of the horde have more or less just gotten used to it. But I canāt imagine baine being all totally cool about the forsaken haha let alone the alliance being cool with forsaken walking around stormwind
The Forsaken have always been a thorn on the Hordeās identityā¦ alongside Blood Elves and Goblins. So half the Horde.
I feel like blood elves arenāt as much of a thorn as forsaken or goblin but thereās definitely that affiliation aspect.
