The uncrowned and Wrathion?

Tin foil time!
Could Wrathion be a member of that organization? He led a group of rogues before and actually gave them their legendary daggers. He is a self proclaimed prince and last black dragon. But like the name of the rogue order Hall is the uncrowned, it could be in part Wrathion not being actually crowned as the leader of the black dragons.

He and the organization have the same goals, to safeguard Azeroth through any means, and I could see him running things behind the scene without their knowledge. And like Jaina he could say I have done things in Legion just without us knowing it.
From a story point of view, we'd have known about if it were so.

If this were to be the case, Blizz's terrible reasoning would be something like Wrathion bribed all of them to secrecy. lmao

They explained Jaina not being a dreadlord as,”oh she fought the legion, off camera of course” . So it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
You seem to have a lot of faith that the Uncrowned will continue to exist going forward.

Valeera Sanguinar being near Anduin as well as Garona and Lillian being by Sylvanas makes me hope for a big GoT/Julius Cesaer type mass Uncrowning.

Step 1: Sylvanas is murdered by assassins.
Step 2: The Forsaken blight everyone and everything in sight in revenge.
Step 3: ?????????
Step 4: Peace and Justice for All.

I am a fan of Sylvanas and what shes doing, dont get me wrong.

But boy that would make a name for the Uncrowned - taking out Anduin and Sylvanas. Though such high profile assassinations would incur much wrath on both sides.

It would be an interesting twist - and have parity!

Perhaps the Uncrowned think Cordana was right- our leaders are betraying us with constant war and ineffectiveness. So they get to Uncrowning this batch.

I would be very much in favor of that. The people of Azeroth are fed up fighting for factions and to end the stupid faction war they kill the leaders of both parties. It would unite them and squash the stupid pettiness.
There could also be implications of the Uncrowned before Legion during the time of human kingdoms.

Their are seven chairs in the meeting room signifying the Seven Kingdoms for each chair.

Lord Jorach Ravenholdt being possibly being a noble Alterac, Princess Tess Greymane a princess of Gilneas, Edwin VanCleef and his daughter knowing Jorach possibly helping startup Defias Brotherhood, having connections with Bloodsail Buccaneers and Steamwheedle Cartel both have conflict in the past, and more.

There possibly Azeroth's greatest criminal organization, even if they were taken out would possibly have great consequence.
I honestly expected him to be in the Rogue Order Hall, considering his Hearthstone card is a Rogue card.

Missed potential, I guess.

As I understand it, HE was originally supposed to be disguised as Ebonhorn. But he got replaced by a different black dragon who always lived there.

It might've made more sense for that one zone. But it also meant that we got a new one-zone-only minor character who might never do anything again, and did not get the payoff for a major character who had a vested interest in the big story we were telling.

If Wrathion got that in, he might've played a bigger role in the expansion as a whole. Though it's also possible the writing team weren't interested in finishing his story, even though he's the one who first brought up a bunch of the stuff Legion focused on.
I would think it very likely he has connections to the Uncrowned though he seems to have his own organisation. It is possible with the spread of it's leadership in BfA that the Uncrowned might be positioning itself to keep an eye on this war.
I will admit it feels bad that he wasn't even mentioned in Legion considering this very expansion is what he was warning us about in Mists.

I hope he is in BfA at least.

funny you mention GoT... from Hearthstone, Tess Greymane's greetings emote is: "The Uncrowned send their regards." which is apparently an homage to Game of Thrones's line "The Lannisters send their regards. "

Sorry about the slight necro, but the Uncrowned and Wrathion have now popped back up on my radar while digging through potential 8.1 or beyond plot points.

if anyone is interested have started a huge post on the /r/wow subreddit where I hope to collect more info under the username smatchimo, dunno if i should link here or not

If I can link to pointless memes and youtube clips you can link to a reddit post.
Not to be too blunt here but...the guy fights with a spear. I don't think he's a rogue.
Wrathian wont arrive till the next expansion.

World of warcraft The End Of Time.

Which will be followed up as soon as baine finds himself lost when he tries to gain the taunka for the horde.

Remember the dragon implaled on the wyrm temple. Well its either wrathian of deathwing that was prob resurrected. Either way somebody will get wrecked by the nozdormu in the future.
