The ultimate "The End" of Wow's History. Is "Light" really good?

Certainly will be the Final Clash of Light against Void.

I mean, we know there the War of the cosmological realms, we’ve seen the Void trying to conquer Bastion and also the Light attacking Revendreth.

Also the Order realm fighting against Fel and struggling against Life at Draenor.

But the “real” conflict is Light vs Void. It was their first clash that the other realms came to existence ( Or i am wrong? correct me please).

Eventually, Some realms would ally with the Light and others with Void, maybe?

Thing is, is Light really the good side? We’ve seen the Naaru being a bit indoctrinating (Like Draenor Yrel’s fanatics) or abusive, like Xe’ra with Illidan, trying to force the light thru his throat.

All the time we have seen the Void being a corruptive and maddening force, but its really “evil”? What if the Void was trying to show us the “truth” about Light and her “manipulation” to seduce people with “Light white magic”?

Sorry about the confusion, I was reading about it and and many things came to my mind, thought it would be cool to discuss here.

Honestly, I don’t think the Light or the Void are good and evil, I think they just are, and that the users all have the capacity for good and evil. We’ve seen Zealots of the light force genocide or want to cause great harm to anyone who doesn’t follow them. We’ve seen void cause damage of great proportions, and then we have the void elves who use the power for good.

It was when Warcraft started. (Even the Scarlets being able to use its power didn’t really cast doubt on that.) The writers have been steadily retconning it over the past few expansions, and I’m pretty sure it’s going to lead to a Babylon 5 rehash.

You can have a good-vs-evil story, or you can have an “all powers are neutral” story, and both can be done well. I feel like they’ve mucked up the emphasis, though, giving us the weaknesses of both types of story and the strengths of neither.
