The Ultimate Borrowed Power

Free spec/talent swapping. That has to be your biggest mistake, developers. Like flying, once you made this possible, now you cannot take it back for fear of players screaming bloody murder that their convenience is being denied.

You have made WoW the ultimate convenience factory; from minimalizing secondary traits to THREE (Vers being the ‘pvp stat’), giving gear two different primary stats, and the vault (which everyone hates, yet they don’t want it to go).

At least the jobs in Final Fantasy were balanced by time commitments, but you didn’t even consider that.

Now you have another tumor of your own making. You have to build the game around that ultimate convenience of borrowed power, and in doing so, flush game design right down the drain.

I would leave a snarky post about the last thing left for you to do is give players free loot when logging in, but then that’s what the vault is for…

Additionally, gnomes get 8 classes but others get 10? That’s a shame! I say we give gnomes Druids and DH to make up the difference.

Free spec/talent swapping was the single best QoL change WoW has ever had. Your entire argument is idiotic.

free painting swapping from men to women to fruit i need this QoL change asap.

It’s convenience for the sake of convenience. Of course you would think it’s the best thing, look at all the time you saved. Heaven forbid you’re denied something instantaneously.

Trying to farm two complete different sets of armor must’ve hurt your head somethin’ awful.

No, its not. The respeccing fee was a major source of complaints and the player base was nearly universally happy it was removed.

lost me at this.

Yes, it is. When you give players the borrowed power to swap their entire playstyle at a whim, that is a massive convenience. Gold actually had value as a counterbalance.

But nah, commitment is scary. Better get the biggest eraser so you feel better.

Go enjoy Classic then. Restricting access is terrible for casual play, especially in an age of gaming where getting declined, kicked, or mocked is often the first choice by many.

If only it was twenty years ago…

Congrats, OP. I now don’t think that complaints about pictures are the silliest thing I have read on the forum today.
