The twilight highlands. What's going on?

Are a huge mystery right now. If I remember correctly there was a mission in legion stating that the entire wildhammer population there had been wiped out by a legion attack. Kaput. Kaboom. Which sucks because I LOVED THEIR ARCHITECTURE AND LITTLE HOBBIT HOLES but okay blizz alright.

The dragonmaw orcs can also be assumed to be…few in number. Most of them followed Garrosh with Warlord Zaela, so it can be assumed that the clan is almost gone at this point.
And yet, there’s still a little bit of activity in the highlands. The Horde is building an outpost there in the Vulpera questline. Why? What is in there that the Horde needs? Why are they building an outpost so…conspicuously…close…to Ironforge…

Hmm.

I mean, they can try to invade Ironforge.

But not even the first Horde did that. Took one good look and a hammer to the face and decided they would just walk around. Lmao

Fair enough - just seems pretty sus y’know? XD

No, the Wildhammer wasn’t wiped out, only the clan that one NPC is from.

Ahhhh okay. Hm. Well that still leaves a lot of questions…and goodness I’d love for them to return to like, anywhere they’ve been. XD

Spit it out already.

Gossip What’s a Wildhammer dwarf doing out here?

My clan was wiped out by the Twilight’s Hammer. The only reason I escaped was because my brother Keeland sent me away on his gryphon. Saved me life.

Traveled most of the world before I settled 'ere in Kul Tiras. Found these folks hunting gryphons for meat and pelts. I showed them there was another way. Now they’re the next generation of gryphon riders.

Don’t think I’ll return home. This is my clan now.
