I strongly suspect that Phases 1, 2 and 3 of Ciconia are variations of Beatrice the Golden Witch’s backstory with all 3 of Lambdadelta’s incarnations as Beatrice the Golden Witch.
The only reason the story changed was because Asumu/Piece Witch of the Piece fell into oblivion needing a new Protagonist with said Protagonist being Rika/Ange.
Furthermore Takano didn’t have the Rosa show up to explain the truth of things earlier so she lived long enough for her Grandfather to dispose of himself due to his theories being ridiculed though clearly not before he used his Granddaughter’s own research to aid in injecting the cause of the Hinamizawa Syndrome into one of the intended Lambdadelta incarnations: Mion(birth name: Shion)
The fact that Maria supposedly abandoned Ange and Battler took her place means that there is a Chibi Oni in each of the 3 settings and Featherine switched places with the one in Rika’s Timeline(due to Hanyuu’s scent not being worshipped while the real Hanyuu hunted down Eua) until Rika won against Takano.
The Scent Hanyuu eventually died in Higurashi Gou and the Real Hanyuu was bestowed her Ryuun-Ohc which she used to beat Eua.
Incidentally there are multiple possibilities and if Eua decided to contact Hanyuu on her own volition one might think that we might find out why Hanyuu was looking for her and she would eventually return to Hinamizawa and promptly blurt out statements that shows that she hasn’t the slightest clue what happened in the Loop thus forcing her to reveal her leaving behind the anthropomorphic personification of her Worship to guard her while she seeks out Eua.
If Hanyuu returned before her scent disappeared we might get humorous scene where Hanyuu gets too relaxed causing her scent who is on the verge of fading away to get annoyed with Hanyuu & Rika’s laziness and start wondering if they can survive on their own and start writing in her dairy on that effect.
If Hanyuu doesn’t get Eua to leave and infact was seeking out how to fix Rika’s Looping only for Eua to refuse to fix the problem and let Rika become a Witch then Hanyuu will become Rika’s primary guardian figure for eternity.
If Eua decides to cure Takano of the Hinamizawa Syndrome and contact her about the Witch’s epitaph of her Grandfather then Takano might figure out that Mion is the King Carrier and start scheming to break her. If Eua gives Satoko Looping at the same time then things will get interesting at St. Lucia.
If St. Lucia turns out to have a secret entrance to Takano’s Grandfather’s most secret lab and Takano convinces Mion to become a nurse at St. Lucia to keep an eye of Rika & Satoko and sets up the Witch’s Epitaph as a riddle for Mion there to discover then the setting becomes more dangerous.
Featherine looped Piece into Asumu despite Lambdadelta contacting Beatrice to grant her one wish suggesting she would drag her out of Oblivion whenever the setting started to resemble her usual ones so if the setting started looking like Rokkenjima then Aurora would rush in and start summoning Piece into the setting and find herself the first victim of Mion(who would be under Takano’s encouragement to solve the Epitaph thus finding out what Takano’s Grandfather did to her thus causing a mental breakdown becoming Miyo Sonozaki killing the girl who helped her discover the lab).
Ironic how the Asumu of the Setting would become the first victim of the tragedy due to Beatrice not being aware of Battler’s existence. Ange would become Rosa too.
With Satoko and Rika looping the cast will start suffering from Memory Leaks which would result in Mion instinctively avoiding St. Lucia thus necessitating Takano arranging for her to be harvested for the King Carrier which would be injected into her sister by Dr. Irie(on the grounds of testing a new cure for the Hinamizawa Syndrome) who would become Miyo Sonozaki in Mion’s stead.
A couple more loops and Shion would reject the false cure forcing Takano to test the King Carrier on Satoko and watch as Satoko finds out about her own nature and becomes Miyo Hojo.
Of course Takano is not one to settle for second best and would kill off the second Miyo after seeing the results of her rampage in order to fulfill her Grandfather’s Last Wish. Basically the Kuwadorian Beatrice would crush Sayo Yasuda for thinking she was Beatrice.
Eventually with enough Loops Takano would be effected enough by Memory Leaks that she would find a way to become an outright Oni like Eua with the Failures(all resembling Hanyuu) lurking around her Grandfather’s Secret Lab.
Lambdadelta already gave Takano the assurance that Takano’s endeavors would bear fruit so it is inevitable for Takano to become a successful Kuwadorian Beatrice rather than a failure like the others.
