The Truth About Microtransctions

Wait, you’re saying we can’t get a reward put into difficult content by design without doing said difficult content?
Mind.
BLOWN.
I mean, it’s not like it’s obviously the point or anything.

To be honest, wow tokens in a way helps turn the economy. For people buying tokens and for people selling tokens.

Level boost is debatable.

But Id be super mad if they added more to be honest. We pay for the xpac and 15 a month I’d be super mad if they added more to be fair. I’m already mad about store mounts, cause theyre cool and deserve to be in the game not the store.

I think many would be very mad if they added class changes (like, a er… complete change at level to a different class.) While a level boost is similar, you don’t get any gear or such like that, but class boosts might give you it. That would be considered very notcool/unfair

My brain instantly went to ffxiv lolol. But level boosts give you level appropriate gear. To get you through content. But I have no idea how a class boost would work.

But yes having more microtransactions to a game I already pay 15 a month for would be rediculous to me.

Cmon mate , look at SWTOR they don’t add any of that yet every patch they release very little content but fill the shop up with heaps of stuff that could have made great content for players to do in game. Devs spend to much time making stuff for micro transactions then the do on actual game features.

I prefer a sub based game i’ll happily pay 15 a month for regular updates over a free to play micro transactions game any day of the week.

I don’t get why the old way was such and issue. I pay publisher 60 bucks they give me a complete product. I pay them a sub they continue to update, its good trusted working method.

Wow is that game still around?

Yes. I heard recently it isn’t in too great of shape.

Microtransactions are like communism. Sure you can think of tons of explanations on why they could be awesome, but no one has ever or will ever put them into practice in a way that isn’t predatory and exploitative.

I’m okay with little pets, mounts, and cosmetics but nothing that can affect gameplay.
