So, because it’s not all about KD it’s not pvp is what you are saying… and yes that means you don’t play bg’s correctly because you think only KD should matter. Go play CoD or League instead of trying to change other games to fit your personal feelings.

No, what I am saying is, that BGs aren’t based around players fighting players, because players doing best by avoiding fights and get the job done by bringing the enemy flag into the own base for example.
So how could BGs be PvP when its better to avoid enemy players?!

In the war within, blitz will be in the competitive mode with a functional mmr and rating system afaik. Please correct me, if I am wrong.
And it was about him saying, that its only RBG that isn’t played, because of its competitive nature, but normal BGs aren’t dead but played a lot. I doubted that!

Like idk how you are confusing yourself here lol again if you don’t like wow pvp why are you playing? There are LOTS of other games that fit what you want.
I do, nearly every week by joining arena and shuffle. It is more like that you don’t like WoW PvP, that is why you are doing a weird combination of
Player versus Objectives and Environment with some Fights between Players
In short: PvOaEwF

A while ago there was some hype about some SC2 pvp devs being xfered to wow to try to “fix” this mess, were they actually brought over lol
Your personal feelings don’t represent what pvp actually is. PvP is Player vs Player having objectives does not make it not PvP. Again, if you don’t like it that’s on you it’s very obvious that arena’s are dying. Bg’s and big open world pvp have been around sense day one. Arena has not. Again, there are LOTS of other games that fit you “KD is everything” mentality why are you mad that blizzard won’t cater to your personal feelings?

I mean, people are playing against each other, have competitive mode with mmr, etc.
In case you didn’t realize: BGs even more! BGs are so dead that they even remove the premade option for rated bgs with next expansion and make it solo queue exclusively!

Which is fine, because that is still about players fighting players and not players escorting some wagons. Every other aspect in WoW requires you to do damage and fight. The whole class design is based around it.
Except BGs, they give you the option to fight, but that isn’t the major goal of it. The major goal there are the objectives. You could go as far to say, that avoiding fights often helps you to win faster.
When you want to call that PvP, that is up to you but I don’t think it deserves to call it that way. PvO would be a much better → PlayerS versus Objectives!
Again, this is the arena forum, not the I don't like to fight other player forum!

I’m a casual PVPer. I don’t know why I even bother. It’s miserable to try to play against people who line every single thing up every time, never miss kicks, never miss CC, do 2-3x my damage, CC chains that last 15s+. I like staying low MMR as I am casual. This season has been by far the worst experience I have ever had in any game ever. I have lost more arenas than ever thought possible.
There is no way they are ever going to get new PVPers, not in arenas. It’s a horrible experience every game. Not all of us want to have 60 addons to play.
The only thing this game does is cause extreme anger now, with now being just fully locked down on non-meta specs. Juking is a thing of the past with the amount of micro-CC.
Filthy, useless PVP development team.

Most ppl dont like arena at all, and those who enjoy it dont have friends to play with so they go solo queue.

Well i stopped in S1 and tried to go back in S4 with the solo shuffle as a holy priest: It’s hell like in S1.
Same OP class (warrior and DH), cc chain and you can’t do anything about it.
There’re few times where i even suspected one player to be a cheater, playing to perfectly.
i was told that cc chain is the whole point of PvP, well if it means that someone can’t play then it shouldn’t.
As for the add-ons, i only have Gladius and even so, this one is useless for me.
Don’t complain that newcomers don’t want to come: PvP is just unwelcoming and arena even more.

Yeah, this is why I don’t want to do solo shuffle this season. Way too much crowd control. Who wants to play a game where you can’t even play half the time? At least in battlegrounds you have some breathing room, lol.
