The true enemy to both WoW and IRL is Elitism/Extremism

Oh yes it does.

The rich telling the poor that wanting a better framework as a whole is trolling.

Please explain this statement. It makes zero sense. Thanks!

I hear FF has that, have you checked it out?

In this case…the “rich” are who? The people who make their own groups? I’ll let you in on a secret. There’s thing thing called lfg. You can go into the menu, select the content you wish to complete, and click “start group”. In minutes you will be getting requests to join. It really is that easy.

When #SoloQueue is told no, the current system, which favors and fondles Elitism/Raid or Die that many players despise, survives, and even thrives. A system that favors difficulty that would put Touhou or Soulsbornero games to shame.

You know it’s bad when a competing MMO has it but not you.

Vox, you’ve been selling me this awful snake oil for years. Fix the problem.

This is an MMO, let’s be real. You are calling me elitist, yet if you had read anything I had put out there you’d know I am casual this time around. I group here and there and not caring for mythics at the moment at all. To you, I would be a player who would benefit from this and I still would disagree with it.

The whole premise of this game since it’s inception has required group content for the best stuff. If you want it, you put in the work simple as that. You don’t demand solo content that never existed and crap all over anyone who disagrees with you.

MMO’s do not mean forced grouping.

If you were on my side, you wouldn’t claim to be against ideas to help the game. Yet here you are, accusing a Bernie Bro of being a Trumper.

Horrific Visions says Hi. JP/VP, and beforehand Emblems/Badges, say Hi.

Forced Grouping is an outdated meme by this point.

Have since the inception of WoW, you wanted raid gear you raided.

Canadian, another thing you would have picked up on if you actually read an answer instead of reacting.

Visions were one time, JP/VP I did cover earlier and again you glossed over it. It was heroic dungeon gear firstly, never raid gear. Your currency was capped. You got a piece once every 2-3 weeks. So again tell me how that is better than the vault where you can increase your odds based on the level of 3 different styles of content you can complete.

Is it? I am not a fan of FF, love WoW. Was merely making a suggestion of a game maybe more suited to your needs.

I want my own pillar. Raids aren’t for me.

Bernie Bros are pro-mask. I hate the Trumpers that refuse to wear masks.

Torghast would have continued that trend. But Blizzard decided nah, let’s remove usable gear aside from Soul Ash.

At least I had something to look forward to.

The pillar I want does not exist. There would have been four.

So people who have played for 16 years, are toxic, and should accept your want to reinvent the wheel? And to top it off if we disagree we are elitist extremist and follow a specific political party even if we don’t live in the us?

You are seeing how you come off here right? Like just a little?

WoW once reinvented the wheel when it came out in 2004. It grew stale since Cata.

Toxicity is subjective but hinders Elitism more than Casualism.

Both parties are subject to siding with the insurrectionists. The 14th Amendment seeks to remedy the weeds causing the riots.

I hate all of the insurrectionists, Democrat and Republican alike. A true Bernie Bro wouldn’t further incite the riots by selling snake oil such as “make your own”.

Remember, this was from years of abuse.

Again Canadian, don’t care for politics in my video games at all. Talk leadership of the horde or alliance any time over discussing US politics. I think the entire world is over it to be fair.

I am sorry, I never hurt you, never knew you til today. How toxic is that, actually using this line to excuse your poor behavior here today? How is your saying this not a flag to you?

People have been toxic to me, so I am toxic now is not a justification for anything. Be better.

Not just years of abuse by Elitists (Uldir-Present), but by IRL as well.

My Hot Take here:

The OP has a lvl 50 profile, is complaining about HIGH END Mythic Riaders, which if we’re gonna use the IRL comparison…

Hell, let me explain.
For fresh lvl 60s, we’ll place em’ at right out of high school.
For people just entering heroics and Mythic +0s (ilvl 160-180) range, college.
For people doing Mythic+ and normal raiding (ilvl 181-209) we can make them the average business owner.
For people doing Mythic +10s and Heroic raiding, these are still business owners, but they are big companies.
People doing Mythic +15 and Mythic raiding are HUGE companies or Athletes in competitive sport. Most people are not cut out for that kind of stuff IRL but in WoW it IS possible.
People rushing for World First of Mythic Sire Denathrius or pushing their Keystones to the max are where your original argument comes in: these are the elitists, the 1%, not many people can ever compare to them, and you’d be hardpressed to get to around the same level of play they put into it - their jobs IRL DEPEND on that.

Simply put: millions of people quit WoW not because of ‘Elitism’ but because the game has gone a path that they do not like - be it mechanics, community, or just Blizzard ruining what they enjoyed about the Game.

That’s why I am upset. Things I like were taken away.

So then your original argument of ‘The True Enemy to both WoW and IRl is elitism’ holds no ground, because your end argument is regarding a personal issue.

That’s the kind of thinking that gets you nowhere.

I’m sitting at 197, doing my first ever raiding of Normal Difficulty raiding (never going back to LFR now, it’s actually fun to work with people and you can trust the puggers more than the queuers), doing more Mythic+.

I’m doing well, but I can always do better. That’s how any job or manager looks at themselves, what can I do to rein in more cash / get me more powerful?

Holy…you want to remove everything social from this game? What is wrong with you? Play skyrim dude.

At a different point in time, I looked at the game and held no interest. What held me over was removed over time.

I kept clinging onto hope that higher ranking community members would convince Blizzard just to bring back what was lost. I tried for years, but kept getting shut off or down or up or whatever else have you left and right.

For once, I want to be happy again.
