Page 4 for the quest Trails gone cold isnt flag as a quest reward and thusly doesnt progress the quest after picking it up and the idol still points to wear it was

Can talk to Maru from that point for a hint, or just fly north to Sholazar Basin, then use your whistle and a new “X” will appear.

Rexxar is first found just North on Un Epe(?) in Borean Tundra. Whistle for Rexxar then go Rexxar’s X on the map. 2 pages at the shed (1 inside, 1 out) and 1 just east of that by a shrubbery. After those, go to Shalazar basin and Rexxar will give you 2 new Xs. Talk to the inkeeper and Nesingwary then fly to telescope. Use that then go into Icecrown and Rexxar will give you a new X. Click Scrapes body then call Rexxar again and answer his question. Return to Caverns of Time to turn in.

I had to abandon the quest since I could not get the Spirit Whistle and now I am not able to get the quest back. anyone has a clue on how to recover the quest?
The part about flying to ice crown then calling Rexar helped immensely. I couldn’t get x to pop until I got there! Thank you!
