Valid point…
They definitely blew the math.
More importantly…they don’t seem to care.
I was in a run just 10 minutes ago and a feaking level 11 twink one shot a boss with an aircraft carrier. Like, he used it as a blunt weapon, except it was a frikken aircraft carrier.
Kinda is i just soloed the dungeon on my 71 rogue with 486 gear
Not scaling problem as much asnitsnanpeople problem.
Lol lol lol A lvl 11? lol lol lol Bliz, lol lol lol
I’ve had these twinks in my groups before. At first I didn’t realize what was happening until I inspected them.
Had a Mistweaver Monk twink. Literally Spinning Crane Kicked through the entire dungeon one shotting everything with just that. I thought it was kinda cool honestly. Taking the back seat as the tank is funny.
Which seems weird to me because I’ve bought every armor set available, along with some other stuff, and I still find myself drowning in tokens. Wtf are they using them for I wonder?
Already know OP would be the first person making a post complaining about TWing taking too long if they nerf scaling
Yeah, last time walking dungeon I did I didn’t get to kill anything.
When we got to the boss I cast agony and corruption (2 globals) and the boss was at 15% health. Then dead.
I just left
It isn’t fun standing there watching someone else play the game and you get to do nothing. It’s like watching a streamer play
A lot of people are saying they barely see 11’s, wish they came across more etc. But I think it’s important to note that the number of 11’s is only going to increase over time since the barrier to entry is non-existent. I mean, you literally just throw lifestealing on a 11 fury warrior and maybe get sockets/enchants for extra damage if you want.
Just reading the comments on here and the increase in posts of people complaining about it shows that it’s getting worse every week. Eventually, they’re going to be everywhere if they aren’t already and it’ll be the meta for getting badges quickly. I can’t blame people for making them because it’s way more efficient.
Fix lifestealing so it scales properly, make timewalking require level 30 again and adjust the mob health scaling for 70 and 71.
I run a level 11 Fury Twink and I LOVE it!
Most fun I’ve had in literal YEARS!
I personally hit EVERY BOSS in EVERY run I do. I even have a macro saying hello and letting the group know I plan on hitting all the bosses.
I’ve helped countless people get to 80 and in all honesty, not once, have I heard a complaint such as yours.
I say that with ZERO malice. All I know is you can’t please all of the people, all of the time. You can only please some of the people, some of the time.
I hope they don’t change a single thing. Like I said, I’m having a blast and I know plenty out there are also.
I’m sorry you’ve had a bad experience with it, but from a personal standpoint, like I said, I’m loving it.
I wish you the best.
Same. I have helped a bunch of people, I ask them if they are okay with it, I will let people stay and queue with me, I was going to log off and someone asked if I would do another because they only needed 100k to 80 and I said yes. The idea the Twinks are out to get people only serves to make those people feel better about their attacks. Twinks want to do two things – have fun and help people do fast runs.
I saw a fury warrior in one of them. It does look fun.
It’s obviously more fun than hitting 5 trillion HP mobs in Delves for 30 minutes straight or getting 1 shot in a key by invisible damage.
It’s certainly a problem that I never seen to have a “dedicated 11” speeding up my tw dungeons
I’d understand your complaint if this was current content, or what one would otherwise classify as higher content. However, the majority of the player base doesn’t do timewalking or consider timewalking to be anything more than a chore or something to grind, whether it’s for leveling or to get the mount (though you are already aware of this). In short, people don’t use timewalking to “play the game” in a traditional manner as it were; they don’t go in expecting to test out their rotations nor do I think they’d enjoy spending more time than necessary trying to get through something they might consider to be on their ‘to do’ list. They do it for all the reasons above. If you wish to get on and play the game to explore the full length of your spells, test out your rotations, or experiment, I would suggest delves, follower dungeons, world content, or LFR. For further challenge, I’d also suggest Mythic+ and progressive raiding. Timewalking is akin to dailies in our current culture, and to expect much more from it will only harm you in the long run. Most people don’t really get on specifically to spam timewalking dungeons for fun (except for the twinks of course), and you are unfortunately in the far minority of individuals.
All I can really say is this: the last time people complained about content being too easy, they made things horrifically worse for the 90% of players by trying to address the minority, both in terms of those who complained, and those who were over performing. I would much rather they keep it the way it is now because Blizzard is incapable of making delicate, strategic changes. It’s either they make it easy, or they make it disgustingly annoying and tedious. Do you know who would be affected? The healers and the tanks, and we’re already dealing with a drought – they don’t need more of an excuse to abandon PUG content.
That’s the neat part, you’re able to. Go play to your heart’s content.
You can buy tw badges with those tokens , think the largest one is 500 badges for 25 of those anniversary tokens.
I generally do optional bosses
Extra tokens
Only when the tank/group doesn’t suck and we can move along though
76 min per dungeon, to experience the full story of every dungeon, RP walking and only auto attacks, that’s what this dude wants. I really hate people crying about this, so ridiculous and cringe.
Whaaaa whaaaa a lvl 11 is doing more numbers than my lvl 80, whaaaa whaaaa I wanna feel special, I can’t wait 5 min until the carry finish the dungeon so I can keep jumping in Dornogal doing nothing.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I get a lvl 11 carry 86 times out of 10.
That’s exactly how I know OP thinks.
You have that opportunity unfathomably more often than not. You aren’t getting a twink in every run let’s be real here.
And to act like 10s and 11s haven’t been crushing dungeons since SL is wild
