The time Brewmaster felt best

Dragonflight season 4 -

Tier Set

  • 2-Set
Breath of Fire deals 20% bonus damage as Shadowflame and causes you to heal for 50% of all Fire damage dealt.

  • 4-Set
Your attacks against targets afflicted by Breath of Fire have a chance to deal 10% extra damage as Shadowflame, and each Celestial Brew also grants a Stagger absorb for 100% of the Shadowflame damage you have dealt, causing damage delayed by Stagger to instead be prevented.

Coupled that with:

Seal of Diurna’s Chosen
Finger

+13,614 Stamina
+1524 Critical Strike (2.18% @ L80)
+4606 Versatility (5.91% @ L80)

Equip: [Dealing Fire damage has a chance to ignite your enemies, burning them for an additional 65028 damage every 2 seconds.]

Everything buffed everything we already use and it gave us more self heals. Seriously , all that self heal fire dmg buff to them giving us a really POS Tier set (compared to what I posted) and nerfing our healing orbs ?

No wonder all the hate

Last season of Shadowlands was actually kind of crazy, and reminiscent of the Nighthold tier set.

That being said, WoD Brewmaster was a beast.

Scary to think that our spec would solely depend on a tier set. I was more a fan of less buttons to manage, but during mists prog was a very nice place to be as a BM.

This season is more like there’s an aggressive learning curve to our survivability how and how unforgiving prio’s are. I don’t want it to be to easy thoug. Then tanking becomes boring, again. lol

In BFA we had the best damage control from all the tanks in WOW.
We could use the Blackout combo, together with the Ironskin Brew to stop the staggering damage, accumulating the damage in it. So we could repeat the combo a few times until the bar is almost filled and clear with Purifying Brew. it was amazing.

To me it is still the most fun tank in WOW, however I miss the lost talents and dislike this new style where you just press damage skills to become tanky.

I mean yes but no . It was the ‘abilities’ - healing through fire … that was the good part - I mean since they want us breathing fire so much - why would we NOT have something like that built in ??

I don’t know if the healing from the tier set was that big of a deal, but certainly was a factor on how good it felt to play.

I’d say that having so few ox orbs spawn play an even bigger role.

I do like the on demand healing just needs to be more per % of missing health or something would be useful.

on my details meters it was always 30% of my heals

It was best in mop.

Sad part most of the best times Brewmaster felt the best when our tier set was op or had an op items (buffs veng in mop) not the actual spec…

We never been a strong meta spec and always lack damage or mit (right now both).

Theres always some tank can do it better, faster or without an healer

I do wish they made BoF damage heal you like in S4, it felt so smooth to always have passive healing.

Too bad they don’t want to make BrM more powerful than it already is.
