Polls are never misleading. It’s always the people who read them.

no ): sorry

Someone else beat you to it anyway.

So if a town is 90% republican, and you survey them to ask who they will vote for, I bet your results will be lopsided.

A data set can only tell you “what”, not “why.”

Cool this data from this thread tells me they probably don’t know how few people actually want dual spec.

That data set can only tell you what was clicked on at the time. Data cannot tell you what people really want. Maybe some people said “yes” and changed their minds later. Maybe the opposite of that.

A poll can only tell you what was true at one particular instance in time.

21,000 vote poll with 79% in favor of implementing Dual Spec. The poll was done by a WoW content creator who isn’t even in favor of Dual Spec.

The majority of players want Dual Spec.

The majority of “those players polled” want it.
Some could have not even read the poll.
Some could have lied.
Read my example. If this was posted inside a thread about dual spec, you think most of those people aren’t gonna vote for it?

People are only adamant about things they care about. I don’t want dual spec. I haven’t went online though and polled people. The people who do are much more likely to log on and vote for it because they wanted it.

True. But that doesn’t confirm anything other than people didn’t read the poll.

True. But on the flip side, those who said “no” could have lied too.

Not true. I can live without dual spec and will continue playing the game if it’s not implemented. That being said, I’m pretty adamant about having it implemented.

That’s a lot of supposition. Thanks for helping to keep this thread bumped.

^^ This. ALL OF THIS!

Get rid of the WF achieve runs in the larger game. Keep a competitive server of retail/each expansion of classic content on each region (NA/European/Oceanic, SA) that can be used by the elites and ONLY the elites and have it run a different ruleset where the devs can gimp and hamstring those on that server who are participating in World First runs and the like. Everyone else plays on the ‘normal’ ruleset servers where these systems are NOT implemented. Yes the gaming experience will be different but not enough so that anyone could reasonably complain about it and for those on the ‘normal’ ruleset realms who did? Well get an invite to a guild on a WF Realm and off you go, now you are playing with the big boys if that’s what makes you happy.

Go play retail heard it works there

Dual Spec is not a retail feature.

Demon hunters have dual spec.

Still a tank shortage.

Worth noting about the “go back to retail” refrain is that you instantly label yourself as someone who has no idea what you’re talking about and that will color everything you say from there on out.
