They actually do. Their laws when it comes to product are very different than ours. Other countries display this. China however has very strict consumer law that is filtered by their government. Those models were changed because they told Blizzard to make the change or they couldn’t do business there. That is a fair cry from “Oh yeah they can’t overturn Blizzard.” You want to do business in China. You listen to China.
As for time, they don’t pay traditionally as we do as they are only allotted time to play for so long before they suffer penalties to force them to log out. They get to in increments of hours, or days vs the standard monthly model.
Is it detracting from the Outland experience of level 58 to 70? If yes, you have a point. If no, guess what you don’t have? Guess what it doesn’t detract from? The 58 to 70 experience which by Blizzard’s admittance is when TBC officially starts. I don’t agree with it, you know I don’t agree with it. It’s poor taste, and I’ll gladly drink to that.
Yeah you’re typically right. Individuals who have 30k gold or more don’t have any issue. Mages who aoe farm 500g+ an hour have no issue. I didn’t continue to play through all of classic so I don’t have 100k gold to throw around. Like the vast majority of players who can’t afford mongoose and high end gems/enchants/multiple consumes for raids.
If this was fresh TBC where no one has gold cap on multiple characters I wouldn’t have an issue paying for respecs weekly.
Please elaborate.
What does this have to do with your claim that NetEase has:
I started prepatch at lvl 50 and 200g. I know the feel.
shadowlands has dual spec you can play that

I quested in resto spec for an hour and I have 200gold
?
I quit before BWL because blizzard was taking no action to botters for both gold farm and honor farm. I had 50 arcanite bars + a ton of arcane crystals, that at the time were 100g a bar. Came back to them being 4g a bar LOL my bad should’ve sold them before I quit I guess smh.

Shadow moon quest lines. I started the nether drake chain.
I elaborated on the time thing:
“As for time, they don’t pay traditionally as we do as they are only allotted time to play for so long before they suffer penalties to force them to log out. They get to in increments of hours, or days vs the standard monthly model.”
They are restricted on play time. After you are logged in for an hour you begin to receive notifications to log off and suffer penalties to exp gained and a debuff until you are forced to log off. Because of this, they can purchase time by the hour, a few days, and a week at a time.
And Netease has freedom as anytime it does not meet up to their standard within their country, it can be a flat out refusal by the Chinese government to do business with Blizzard at all. So yes, Netease can overturn Blizzard at any time under their standards within the laws of their country. Blizzard fails to comply and they just say “nope” and it’s over.
edit sorry I guess to elaborate the time point. They aren’t subject to 30 days of access. If they pay for 3 days, they get 72 hours played vs our model of a static 30.
What are you go to do after the quests are complete?
The amount of misinformation you’re posting is reaching critical mass. Please keep typing.
Players in China have not had the option to pay by anything but the monthly model for FIVE YEARS NOW:

Dailies. Sell lw and alchemy stuff. Run dungeons. Raid.
But to be fair, I don’t respec to dps for solo content. I like the trade off of survivability vs speed. And it’s not really that much slower.
And I do random dungeons when I feel like gambling on the pug scene being good or not
Delicious, don’t let them distract you. The dual spec movement needs your focus!

No they still retain some of the old time based models. They changed to add those in, but you can still purchase hourly packs.
Oh wow! That’s very interesting and definitely not you doubling down on misinformation! Please locate the hourly pack option for me, my Chinese is a little rusty:

I would do exactly what you are doing myself. In fact I do lol. I hate pvp as enhancement, it’s fine in BGs but arena without the exact talents, not playable. I suffer through it though and will till WotLK or dual spec. Whatever happens, happens. I’m fine with it either way just don’t understand the argument that it will ruin their TBC experience?

I am just curious though. If the fresh start thing is real with QoL changes and several things are being changed, are you planning to move to the fresh one?
I might just to see how good it is. And I’ll go from there. I just hope ret pally is fun to play this time.
