“Horrible people” rofl. It affects nothing.
Dual Spec was never free. And I want the decay to happen faster which rewards me for staying in a spec.
You mean like Pally’s getting both faction Seals?
Or all the Mage Boosting?
Or the World Buff cancer?
Or no lifeing Dungeons to 70 to min/max Rep?
yada, yada, yada.
Yep it’s all exactly like it was back when I played in 2007.
The #nochanges crowd is so FOS.
Yes. They ruined WoW and won’t play the game they asked for and now they need to ruin a re-creation of an older version of the game.
For knowing what would happen once the “some changes” crowd started playing?
Boosts are A-OK but dual spec? Nah casual dealbreaker garbage am I right
some bad changes somehow getting in does not mean we suddenly need to let all the bad changes in. this is a logical fallacy.
You done fighting strawmen?
- Yeah, I am pretty neutral on this one.
- Happened in actual classic, the strategies just have been vastly improved to be way more efficient than they ever intended them to be. Blizzard should have fixed the mob pathing Imo. (we had a mage who would AE boost us in SM in real classic).
- Existed in real classic, but again wasn’t as efficient as it was this time around, was cancer but it was also a choice.
- Definately happened in TBC. I did it on my paladin.
So Everything you described did happen in 2007 - the seals, people just got better at it
No dude. You’re just delusional.
We also have addons that never existed back in the day. Get rid of those as well I guess.
The game can never be like it was.
the best thing they have is alliance getting seal of blood. they think this somehow means dual spec is no biggie
It’s really 10 since each respec requires a respec back. I’d probably respec at least 4 times a week if we had dual spec so 1000 gold would last about 2 weeks
What do you mean just got better at it? I’m not talking about Twisting. I’m talking about Seal of Blood/Martyr.
Alliance and Horde had different Seals for Pally’s not both factions get both as we have now.
How does one get better at having access to something they didn’t have back in the day?
I specifically said (- the seals).
Mage boosting existed in real classic in 2007, I had a mage boost me through deadmines with arcane explosion, and I had mages boost me in stockades with arcane explosion and I had mages boost me in SM with arcane explosion back in 2007/2008. People had no idea you could abuse mob pathing with blizzard slows (at least on my server). But its still mage boosting is it not? Thats what I mean by people just got better at it. Mage boosting existed in real classic it just kinda sucked.
There is no negative to dual spec. It will allow more groups. More fun. Less hassle. Pure positive from beginning to end. No changers are trolls to good design
Are you?
We have the results of the changes.
It’s retail.
No one wants to play retail.
Too many changes.
It’s silly to think that Blizzard will stop “fixing” the game with just what YOU want.
Dual spec means that people don’t need to group up to play the game.
That’s kinda a major thing.
The mechanics to do it existed and there were some killer mages who made vids of them soloing some crazy stuff but it becoming the norm is new and not like it was at all.
Classic was nothing like Vanilla for those of us who were there and TBC is shaping up the same. Most of it is just being an old game that was already beaten to death by pserver players.
We also have addons that never existed, rigs that would put NORAD to shame back in the day, 4K monitors, Gigabyte networks, etc, etc.
That’s why #nochanges was a joke from the start.
that’s what people said about literally every change that led to retail -.-
Your not wrong that #nochanges was a joke from the start as I illucidated in a previous post, but the goal should be to make changes that “keep in the spirit of classic” not make it a retail-LITE. The developers should be leaning into more of what made classic good and not what makes retail suck cheeze.
Harsher penaltys for re-speccing, lean more into class/spec identity. Force players into joining groups and playing with eachother through making the world and game as harsh as possible.
Don’t allow me to just have our holy paladins “respec” to tank dungeons. Force me to recruit a new prot paladin and integrate them into the guild. Meet new players, expand our rosters and friendships. If dual spec was in the game I would be able to have 8-9 kara groups a week by just forcing our warriors all to tank raids, if they don’t like it I would kick them and find someone who would, dual spec would be the death of us trying to find new people to play with.
Wrath babies wanted this and that… those over there and this right here. Look what you did to the game and the dev team. We have crap retail and the original team is gone. You certainly have no business … let alone the blues, dictating anything in this game except running mom and dads bank card.
#MergeSkerumIncendiousItsThatEasy
No idea how I’m going to get this 200 word essay done by midnight, it’s already 2:09 PM CST
In retail there were plenty of times I respecced to DPS for an M+ run with friends because we already had a healer or vice versa.
The same thing happens now in TBC except one of us has to drop 50G to play with our friends when everyone is on. That’s not fun.
This is not an easy Black and White thing with one side wrong and the other right.
