It is a specific type of reasoning, and that matters when using the word.
When did I call you any names? I know I have asked after your mental health, and suggested your behavior seems abnormal, but that’s actual concern, not name calling. I mean, it’s possible I said something inappropriate (I’m not perfect after all), and if I did, I would appreciate it if you quoted the instance.
To be clear, I believe you are in fact trolling, but that isn’t name calling, that’s pointing out my perception of your motivation for your continued somewhat bizarre posts.

If you can’t tell, I was accusing you of trolling, but I was leaving open the possibility that your brain doesn’t work quite like most folks’. That was not an argument against anything you said, it was an observation about your behavior.
