The Superbloom Event

I see usually one person per event other than a druid who can interact with picking flowers, digging dirt, and pulling weeds while mounted. 5 minutes ago it was a warlock and last week it was a paladin. Both times those classes seemed to be using their Legion Class mounts. I tried using my class mount and I fall every time and can only interact unmounted.

How are players able to interact with these items while mounted?

Is it one of those mount atachments like the one that lets your mounts walk on water?

You can interact with things if you’re flying when you interact with them, not on the ground. If you’re on the ground, you’ll get auto-dismounted, but if you’re hovering in the air (so not a dragonriding mount), you should be fine. At least, that’s what I’ve been doing for weeks.

This isn’t it. I’ve been doing exactly this on various mounts, from the Breath of Ohn’ahra to Eve’s Ghastly Rider. I hover directly above the plant, just barely within click range, and it still dismounts me every time. I’ve seen a shaman, mage, and priest all doing it, and confirmed with them that none of them were using mount equipment. I saw no buff that stated they could stay mounted while clicking on interactables during the Superbloom.
I’m beginning to wonder if one of the Superbloom buffs early on secretly allow this.

I just rolled up on my shaman to a Superbloom in progress, with no buffs and was able to fly and interact without being dismounted.

In Options > Controls, do you have “Auto Dismount in Flight” checked (second one from the top)? If so, try unchecking it and trying again.
