Why even have the gems. This is basically what inscription use to be but instead of making useful alterations to spells that they could balance because they would know each one by design for the entire expansion. This was just dropped in and now they got to rebalance them. And still be useful. This is always the problem with borrowed power VS planed professions. Imo anyway. Always liked inscription because it gave you good planning and all of them could be useful. At points in time because they got better at higher skill but it was planned out into the game.
these Gems def feel like shards to me. not exactly my cup of tea.
blizz has info but they always want to “test it in live servers” as if it will yield different info like it’s some new medication they just invented.
