NO ONE COULD GET BASES BACK WE LOST in 8 MINUTES.

wait… your team lost bases because they didnt spin, and couldnt get any back in 8 whole mins because their DPS was terribad, but it’s somehow the Priests fault for life-gripping you? 
This was blitz. They didn’t lose the bases because nobody spun, they lost the bases because it’s eots in blitz and if you cap the flag it swaps the bases. The priest forced a cap by life gripping and likely nobody was expecting it because if you hold the flag you win
I have sometimes run to no man’s land with the flag and dropped it before so that my dumb teammates don’t throw

I hate life grip, it’s a horrible ability. Very few priests really use it properly.

then there’s the PvP Talent that lets us grip THREE of you at once… interrupting anything you might have been casting in the process 
And then this followed by a loss in gilneas as I was 1 second away from capping enemy Lighthouse with their warlock and disc in a blinding light
($^()$'ing warrior on my team charges in and I immediately get tagged.
A game over after 2 minutes.
Honestly, rescue is worse. There’s this evoker I know that will rescue his teammates off the ledge in twin peaks then hover back to safety. I hear he laughs really hard when he does it, too.
Pretty sure he’s the exact same honor level as me

People acting stupider than normal BG’s making me take longer to hit 1600.
I’ve used it to quite good effect to take my FC away from the crush, but that’s probably the only proper use.
I do prefer Time Spiral, which resets their mobility button for 10 seconds.
I’ve only ever had good experiences with life grip and rescue, so far. I appreciate being pulled out of the mess so I can actually get away.

I have to say nothing is more frustrating than getting the enemy flag carrier almost dead, only to have them life gripped out of my paws.
So if you are on the enemy team, feel free to not do that. 
What about a life grip on efc that spins bases for your team to grab freely and bunker hold for rest of match?
I get it, someone made a mistake. I’m sure it isn’t the first time nor will it be the last time.
If they do it ON PURPOSE repeatedly and you ask them politely to not do that and explain why, and they keep doing it, you can report them for gameplay sabotage.
No need to make a post out of what some random person did in one battleground match.
Also keep in mind, since you’re playing a rated mode, you’re the same MMR as them which means you’re probably making just as many silly mistakes as they are. (Yes MMR is a bit all over the place as it’s the season start so this isn’t entirely true but you get my point).
I mean, all our MMR is 0, and this is deliberate trolling.
and people juking rated matches that can take 30-45 minutes from queue start to bg end, is definitely worth being outrated at.
